"This place is a scam. Do not go here expecting it to be an urgent care. They mislead you into thinking they're urgent care with the "quickcare" & "immediate care" title in their name & they also even pop up on Google searches & insurance websites when you search for "urgent care near me" but when they bill your insurance it ends up not being covered under urgent care services. I went in with my daughter to be seen because she had a fever & sore throat & they stuck q-tips in her nose to check for covid & flu. When the flu test came back positive the np recommend over the counter meds & that's it & sent us on our way & all I paid at the time was a $10 co-pay but little did I know they billed my insurance $841 just for that & after insurance only covering about half of that I still got a bill of $237 from them that I will not pay. I'm filing an appeal with my insurance. Not to mention the np they had working that night was not very nice, she was snappy with me & my 6 year old & is not very kid friendly at all. She made my 6 year old feel as though she was in trouble for not feeling well & a little cranky & not wanting to get q-tips shoved up her nose or wear a mask when she already had a stuffy nose & trouble breathing to begin with."
"Beware and believe the reviews! This place is not designed for insurance at all! I got a call about my son urgent visit on 2/2023 and I owe $879! Are you kidding me? The insurance number they had on his file was incorrect! I was giving them the benefit of doubt by trying them out. Wrong mistake! I definitely will NOT be returning or recommend them at all. This place is a SCAM! They prescribed him steroids and he had no inflammation. All he had was a fever. Thank goodness, I’m in the health care field, so I did not give it to him. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. CVS Minute clinic is sooooooo much better!"
"This is for the nurse at the Piedmont Quick Care Clinic! Let me correct that I believe she's a doctor in a nurse disguise. She was wonderful! Very knowledgeable! And literally provided care! It was not about money for her it was about providing care. I wish I would have gotten her name and I wish she was a doctor at a doctor's office because I definitely would become a regular patient. Thank you so much for the CARE you provided today! I'm from Michigan and I was very nervous about going to a clinic in Georgia. But she made it so comfortable! Again thank you!"
"Visited the clinic for an illness. They took my insurance information and co-pay, and then billed my insurance company 3 times their clearly posted prices. After the insurance company paid their adjusted rates, I received a bill in the mail for the balance, which was $34 more than if I had paid cash on the day of the visit. They also administered the same Flu test twice due to their own error, and billed 3 times for each. Beware of this unethical and borderline fraudulent practice. Discuss self-pay options on the day of your visit. They will take your insurance information and lead you to believe it's your only option, without discussing with you that you'll actually pay more out of pocket later."
"Designed for Self-pay patients! We made a visit to this location for urgent care as my wife had an upper respiratory infection. She was seen and given a prescription. I knew I would receive a bill, after insurance adjustments, because I have a high deductible plan. When I called to verify the $300 bill, before insurance adjustments, was correct, the nice service representative informed me these clinics are designed for self-pay patients. The purpose of my review is not to complain of poor service, although it wasn't worth $300, but to inform the consumer of the business model. Do your homework on the cost before you visit here."
