"‼️IF YOU ARE A BLACK WOMAN DO NOT SEE THIS DR‼️I asked Dr. Style to allow me some time off work because I was feeling depressed and grieving the loss of my grandfather, my second dad! She stated that she didn't feel comfortable without notes from my psychiatrist so I uploaded those in my chart and she still refused. I sent a very vulnerable message expressing my pain, and no response was received. Black women health is not important to these doctors. I hate to make it a race thing, but I do believe if I was white, I would've gotten what I needed. I think I'm going to have to truly leap off the deep end, and then it'll be too late. Smh, and I was still charged $305 for the visit. I will not be returning here, and I do not recommend it."
"This place was precious until Emory took it over, and while it had been okayish for a few years, it is now spinning down and out (especially with the adoption of Epic). I have been with Farida Ahmadi for a long time, and she is fantastic, but the system is crippling the quality of care she is able to provide enough to make me leave. Calling often results in the phone menu game hanging up on you, yes, during office hours. The online portal had been perfect for getting in touch directly but now messages addressed to Farida go to (understaffed) nurses who never respond and never forward, so she never sees them, and even the direct message Farida and I set up together for future needs has been mysteriously closed out. Before each appointment, you have to go through an online questionnaire about the reason for your visit and your *entire* medical history, only to arrive and do it all over again in-person. I miraculously scheduled a sick visit (which could have been prevented with the message system...) and am now being billed $260 after (my relatively good) insurance! That is the same cost as an ER visit! I could have gone to urgent care for $75 but wanted Farida's help since she knows my history. It was a 10min visit (mostly us setting up the direct message that is now closed out). Calling billing, you talk to people without knowledge or context who agree with you that something is preposterous but can't explain or do anything about it. The system is broken and it's enraging that it's claiming to support people in pursuit of health."
"This was a great practice until Emory took over and ruined it. When you have to wait a couple of months for a sick visit, you end up having to use the ER as your primary physician, which is an ineffective, inefficient and inhumane system. I have been a patient of this practice for 10 years and I loved my doctor, Anna Steinberg. However she left the practice so I have been told I am considered a new patient and have to wait until next year for an appointment. The physicians assistant Farida Amani is fantastic but I can’t get an appointment to see her either. What is the point of being a patient of this practice if you can’t get an appointment when you’re sick. Their new epic portal is an epic failure. It does not allow you to renew your prescriptions like the old portal, but you can’t get anybody in the office to renew your prescriptions when you call. Being a patient of his practice is like not having a doctor at all. Strongly advise you to go elsewhere"
"I have been a patient here for 4-5 years and I loved this place until 2020. They were great. Yes, you might wait for 5-10 minutes on the phone while trying to make an appointment or get a prescription refilled, but other than that there were no problems. Since the beginning of 2020 I have seen a serious decline and most of that has to do with the administrative staff. You will wait on hold for half an hour to make an appointment. If you leave them a message you will not get a returned phone call. If you can get them on the phone they won’t put your appointment into the system half the time and then they won’t fit you in even though they were the ones that screwed up. They won’t allow you to schedule a follow up appointment in office. They say they will call you to schedule it and never do. Unfortunately, I would say that it is not worth the headache to go here. This was overall a great doctors office, but not anymore."
"UPDATED REVIEW: I had my first appointment today, and it went very well. Per my first review, the front desk staff I encountered today was not the same crew I encountered a few weeks prior, which prompted the review below and 3 stars. I'm convinced the young lady who was there today was the same one I spoke to on the phone when I initially set up my appointment. I saw Dr. Murray and absolutely loved her. I hope the front desk staff understands they are the first impression and can make or break a relationship with their office. It was the reason I left my last provider. I had a great visit and have changed my rating to a 5. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I have not had my appointment yet, and initially, the staff was great to deal with when scheduling my new patient appointment. I called three times this morning to verify my upcoming appointment as I did not change it in my calendar. I was put on hold each time upwards to 5 minutes before hanging up. The third time I asked how long I would be placed on hold because I called twice before and was placed on hold for a while and was told by the staff member, "Well hold on again". RUDE. I was in the area and had to physically walk into the office where there were three women at the front desk, none on the phone, two who did not appear very busy and the one I believe who answered the phone the third time putting files away. I was very disappointed and hope this is not indicative of what I have to deal with should I go forward with this practice. I gave them 3 stars because in all fairness, I have not had an appointment yet, but the front office staff is what patients base their satisfaction with an office. I'll revisit my rating after my appointment next month. Hopefully it will be better."
