Reviews of Neighborhood Union Health Center
"This was my daughter’s first pregnancy and she doesn’t know how the process is to go but not like this. I don’t know why this place is still open. They make it difficult. They don’t follow up, they hide behind the door cause you can’t see anyone when you go in. They lie and say someone will call you for your initial WIC appointment and don’t. They will keep asking for documents. Poor experience here. Then looking at the other reviews I think I’m going to contact the state representative. Need the right people in position."
"My son was born in 3/23/22 he's only received wic once and that was from grady hospital. I've called neighborhood union a thousand times to schedule an appointment. I finally got someone in the phone. I endows everything she asked for. She told me to wait in a call back. I didn't receive that call so I emailed her once again. Days later she responds and say the office is clawed until Monday. Monday came the security wouldn't let me in without an appointment. I'll be reporting this Company to the BBB!! THEY'RE NO GOOD VERY GGETTO"
"What an amazing place first and foremost thank you Amber and Dr.Beverly for making my experience such a great one I came into the office as a new patient looking to do an annual GYNO appointment and a general woman check up and treatment was served quickly and had all my questions answered at a low cost according to my income this was very helpful being that I am currently unemployed I really appreciated the attention and certainty. The staff sincerely just wanted to help me and they did and it was everything I could ask for plus more !! Thank you I’m so grateful!"
"So I scheduled an appointment for today at 8:45am to transfer my little brothers immunization records to match Fulton county records. I then receive a phone call as I am pulling up to the clinic and was told over the phone that the nurse called out. So I was asked if I wanted to reschedule. I stated no because I should of been notified at least 30 to 45 minutes before my appointment. So I won't be using there services because of the lack of communication and also when I do call it takes a few times for anyone to answer the phone. I have left voicemails before and no one returns my phone calls. I am very disappointed at the lack of professionalism from this clinic. Also, if the nurse did call out why isn't there a back up nurse on duty? I am an LPN myself and I know for a fact that most small clinic's should have at least 2 to 3 nurses or medical assistants on duty who can take someone's shot."
"At first it was easy, make an appointment for a medical exam. Go in at 9, get some blood drawn, than boom. Go home. The reception was fine and the service was okay. But than came the confusion of me being HIV positive. So I straightened it out, and the nurse is ready to take blood. She has all her tools ready, than she decides to ask was I tested for HIV, I say yes last year. Than she proceeds to say "I'll be back" than in comes a very kind receptionist (michael) and he's forced to break down why I won't be getting any service at the clinic. When I already knew why. Not only did I feel ridiculed for something I didn't have, but my father DIED from HIV/AIDs and I have a ton of personal issues that didn't help. So they uber me to another clinic. I'm crying, upset, and I'd much rather be dead by this point. I hate the level of disrespect for my personal health and the lack of interest the associates took. Quite honestly, the lab nurse needs to be fired or trained for a whole year on how to treat patients, cause she obviously doesn't care. Now any problems my body may face I'll never know until a later date when the info could potentially save me now. Only in ATLANTA."
