Reviews of Emory Clinic at 1525 Clifton Road
"Not really interested or concerned in what my issues were. I felt like I was being rushed.I didn't see a Dr. Had to pull answers out of the pregnant practitioner. It was obvious she was very uncomfortable in her pregnancy and needed to be at home. Was given no advice on what to use to for prevention of my issues, not even a type of soap. Went home clueless. I would have done better googling for answers. Never again! I'm leaving Emory network and my family!"
"Horrible experience with doctors who didn't listen or care about health or needs. Bad attitude, unhelpful and disinterested. Amazing when doctors refuse to communicate within their own departments, ask for things they can see and access in their own systems, give you the run around with paperwork, then still not do their job to help. Worst bedside manner and doctors do not seem to care"
"I called to make an appointment and told them exactly what I needed to get checked out. When I showed up, I reiterated to the nurse what I was there for. And then right before the doctor came in—I was told that I could only pick one concern to discuss with the doctor. I was told I had to make another appointment just to have the freckles on my nose looked at. The doctor was nice but forcing someone to wait 4 more months for something that takes 15 seconds is such a disappointing way to operate. But hey, that’s just healthcare in America. Profits first"
"I went for my yearly dermatology checkup. Not only are the facilities nice and clean, I always have a good experience. On my recent visit, things were running a little behind schedule, but the nurse came out to the waiting room and kindly let me know there was a short delay - I appreciated that she recognized that I had been waiting awhile and took a moment to check in on me. When I went back to the patient room, the same nurse preemptively turned the heat up a little for me, since I'd be waiting in a gown. Again, I was so appreciative of her thoughtfulness. My Dermatologist was also friendly and knowledgeable, and put me at ease. I had a really wonderful experience."
"DO NOT GO HERE OR TO ANY EMORY CLINIC. Really horrible service. I had a resident as a provider and they left, and they left me completely in the dust of what to do with my care and my medications moving forward. Getting in contact with any provider is horrendous. I’ve been trying to refill a prescription and it’s been taking weeks to call and talk to people and have them send messages to the office to try to get my prior authorization sent to my insurance. It took me two weeks of calling the office, til then I finally had to go in myself and talk to someone for them to finally send over my prior authorization. I got an update call from them later that day that they sent it over. I asked if it was marked as urgent because that gets the insurance to approve it faster, they said yes. But they STRAIGHT UP LIED. I called my insurance three days later asking if it was approved and they said I need to wait another 3 days to get approved because the doctor didn’t mark it as urgent. So now I will have been out of this medication for three weeks because of these doctors I’m competencies. No one seems to care about the patients here. Thank goodness this medication isn’t one I need to live. If I needed to take this medication everyday, I would have been sent to the hospital because of how bad they have dropped the ball on helping me get my medication refilled. The online Emory portal is AWFUL. You can’t even message some providers or reply to messages in there. You search up the name and they don’t show up. Trying to pay your bills? Good luck! The portal for that is even worse. What’s even more horrible is that they have TWO billing centers. So you have to get bills from the hospital and the physicians and login to two different portals and pay your bills through it."
