"I came to get a COVID 19 test, my appointment was made two days in advance and even tho I was 20 mins early my appointment was given to a walk in that arrived all of 2 mins before me. I waited 45 mins before being seen mean while being COVID POSITIVE. I will not be returning to this over priced clinic."
"Convenience for a price $$$! Needed a prescription written for a motion sickness patch before a trip. Was able to get an appointment same day, but after a 10 min meeting for the doctor to put the prescription I was billed $370! I Called Piedmont for further explanation on why such a short, simple visit would justify a $370 bill and the explanation was that it was considered a doctor visit, and all doctor visits start at this price. Next time I’ll be trying out the American Family Care urgent care around the corner."
"Heads up, if you have a high deductible plan, don’t use it here. They will inflate your charges and bill insurance significantly more than the self-pay price. You’ll be stuck with a bill that is nearly double the self-pay price. Self pay was $111, but my insurance was billed $370 leaving us with a $192.50 co-payment. The Nurse Practioner would not tell me what would be charged and billed, and we would have made a different decision about payment at time of service if we had known that Piedmont price gouges and inflates rates for patients with insurance. If that isn’t enough, there is a good chance you’ll wait way past your appointment time to be seen. As icing on the cake, if you need a prescription and you don’t use the Walgreens pharmacy, be prepared to wait until it can be properly verified which could be the next day. It happened to me. My son had to wait to get antibiotics for an ear infection until the next day. We will be using the Minute Clinic at CVS from now on. They bill insurance the self-pay rate (resulting in lower out of pocket than Piedmont QuickCare), have lower wait times, and get the Rx right the first time. If you try to negotiate with Piedmont’s customer service department, you are wasting your time. They are unprofessional and not at all helpful."
"I made appointments on line and was seen quickly! Linda took care of a sports physical for us on Monday and then saw another of our children on Wednesday when he was sick. In sickness and in health Linda was thorough and friendly with her care."
"We pre-booked appointments for our family of 3 to get our flu shots. We had no wait at all. We had the pleasure of receiving care from Lillian. She was AMAZING. I didn't feel my shot at all. I mean, not at all. She was fabulous with my 6-year-old son who, like most kids, isn't a fan of shots. He declared it the best of shots he has ever received. We'll most definitely be coming here again for our flu shots."
