"I had an appointment this past Monday after being sick for three weeks & over the counter medications just weren't doing it. After my visit at Bethesda mobile clinic I'm feeling so much better! Thank You to the doctors & staff! Everyone was extremely kind & compassionate . Bethesda is a blessing!"
"Dr. Fallon has terrible bedside manner. Exam was not thorough and treatment plan was questionable"
"Amazing! Within this year I became unemployed but coming here was amazing. They ask you before charging you with any tests, their blood tests are done there and I was thrilled to find this out! The blood tests were done during my visit, and I was thrilled to find this out, not only are they at a great price but they are done in the same visit. I'm so glad I found Bethesda, and thankful they are close by!"
"I'm a relatively new patient. I caught the long haul version of the coronavirus back in March but it took months and several doctors to get a diagnosis because they weren't seeing patients in person. Even after getting a diagnosis I got zero treatment despite a 101.5° fever for over 8 months and all kinds of weird symptoms. So much for the $350 a visit infectious disease specialist. BCC has been amazing. I've gotten better care at BCC than I ever got at the super expensive Buckhead medical practices I went to back when I had good insurance. I can't recommend them highly enough."
"I originally found Bethesda Community Clinic through a google search for cash pay clinics as I do not currently have insurance. Maintaining regular woman specific screenings is a high priority for me. I left my private practice OBGYN after my insurance coverage changed, and I could no longer afford it. The office is a little over a 30 minute drive for me, but I was hopeful that this could be the place i'd be able to receive routine care for the foreseeable future, so the drive was worth it to me at the time. I could not have been more impressed with the provider that I saw. She was extremely knowledgeable, caring and patient and took time to get to know me and my history before my exam. After my exam, I received a call that my results came back abnormal and they referred me to another office for further follow. They stressed the importance that I make a secondary appointment for this follow up, so I called the office they referred me to immediately after hanging up. I was asked to call them back once I made this secondary appointment, so they could forward my chart to them. I called half an hour later and I gave her my appointment date, name of the provider i'd be seeing, and verified they had the contact info for this office. I ended up calling back twice after that day (for unrelated things), and reminded them each time to please send my chart over. When I arrived at my follow up appointment, I was told that I was unable to be seen as Bethesda had not sent my chart and results over. I truthfully couldn't believe that this was the case, as I had given them all of the information needed as well as three separate reminders (one even the week of the appointment). My appointment was on a Friday, which happens to be a day that Bethesda is closed -- lucky me. I had no choice but to reschedule this appointment and the soonest they had was three more weeks out. As if a month to stress over the 'unknown" wasn't enough, I had to spend three more weeks waiting because of their negligence. I called and left a message at Bethesda after leaving my appointment that Friday, as I was very upset that this type of oversight occurred. When I received the return call, the woman on the phone was very nonchalant and unapologetic about the oversight and just stated that they "didn't have the right number". While waiting on my follow up results, I put a call into Bethesda to see if I could receive a renewed prescription for the birth control I've been on for years. The woman I talked to said that she'd touch base with the provider on issuing the prescription and call me back -- I still haven't received that follow up phone call (it's been over two weeks). However, a woman did call today to ask that I give the secondary appointment practice a call to send my follow up results over. I told her i'd be able to do that, but asked again about the birth control prescription. She said she wasn't sure and that she'd have to reach out to the provider given my abnormal results. After I called to request that my results be sent to Bethesda, I called Bethesda back and spoke to Patricia who originally called me this morning. I told her that she didn't have to check in on the prescription for me, and that I probably wouldn't be back to their clinic after my experience there. Instead of a typical "how can I help" or "why are you leaving", I got a simple "Okay, thanks, goodbye". I'm not sure what I was expecting truthfully, but you can't have an clinic run on the kindness and compassion of the providers alone -- patients interact with them once, maybe twice, a year. My health isn't something I take lightly. I expect follow up phone calls as promised, I expect my chart to be sent over after asking once (especially after asking 3 times). As anyone knows, you primarily talk and communicate with other staff in doctors offices, (nurses, office mgrs, etc), and I think they should take a long hard look at the type of interactions and experiences they're having with patients if they want to maintain a successful clinic."
