"I arrived at 4:10 pm with eye pain. The kiosk indicated the current wait time to be 5 minutes. I was unable to sign in. I stood waiting until 4:20 when the door opened. I advised the female provider I was having trouble signing in. She responded, “My last appointment was a physical and those take 45 minutes, so we’re closed. Sorry.” I said I was here for a simple eye pain and that I had arrived at 10 after and she said coldly, “We close at 4:30. Sorry.” Then, she closed the door. That was it. I was dumbfounded. No offer of another clinic or when this clinic would open. The message was loud and clear: I don’t want to help you. Go away! Don’t worry, Ma’am- I’ll never bother you again. Especially when you have 20 minutes before closing."
