"I have had ongoing problems with neuropathy for two years. I have been seeing a neurologist but needed a primary care physician. Which brought me to Andy Simpson. I made an appointment with him and the appointment was nice and he seemed to care and listen and make good suggestions. He wanted to run lab work. Three days later I received a call from my neurologist that my copper levels were extremely low and what is most likely causing my neuropathy. His nurse said she sent Andy Simpson’s office all the lab work so he could come up with a plan to get me on the right track. That was on a Friday. Monday morning at 8:30 I called Dr Simpsons office to see what I needed to do about the copper. Also to get my test results they had run the week before. By Wednesday there was still no callback. I understand a busy office but I’m on the verge of not being able to walk so the copper was very important. Thankfully I was able to be seen by a doctor at another practice immediately. I am disappointed as this was a major health issue. I might agree with other reviews this might not be a problem with Dr Simpson himself but staff as I left a message for his nurse and never heard back.I must say I love CHI and always try to see a doctor within the network so definitely sad this didn’t work out."

We'll see how the changes go, but received a call from the practice manager, Dolly, and she listened to what I was saying and appears to have gone above and beyond to help. --------------------------- Original Post-------------------- First, Andy Simpson is the best. It’s sad his staff brings down the whole office. You wait and wait. No return calls. Receptionist transfers me to Doc Blackman’s phone. He’s no longer there. They clearly don’t communicate. Finally got a refill called in yesterday but Andrea called in wrong dosage. I’ve repeatedly tried to reach her. Now one helps. And I’m out of the med, but I doubt she minds. Last refill they had me on hold for so long that eventually Andy Simspon picked up the phone. We spoke for 2 minutes and he got my Rx called in with about 5. The staff have been an issue since my first visit years ago. Thankfully I don’t go often. But I need someplace close, as unlike the staff I care about my job and don’t waste peoples time."

"My name is Brook Smith and I have already left a review about how rude the receptionist was but I am now leaving a review on Andy Simpsons nurse. I believe her name is Andrea. First appointment, it took them a week them Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, the whole weekend, they finally called it in on Monday after I had left several messages and she finally called me back Monday. UNACCEPTABLE. Now I have been waiting on a referal and the results of my blood work for over two weeks now and I still cannot get his nurse to call me back. I have NEVER had a problem with a nurse not returning my calls. UNACCEPTABLE. Andy is a great doctor and if he doesn't know his nurse is doing this, he needs to know. I am so disappointed in the way this practice has treated me with me being a brand new patient."

"I love Dr. Max and his nurse Beth! Dr. Max always listens to my concerns. I've seen plenty of Doctors and he is by far my favorite, he has so much compassion for his patients. Beth is amazing at calling you back in a timely manner, calling in refills and answers any questions I may have. I just love them both"
