"Do not go here. They got my phone number wrong. They called the wrong number they wrote down to confirm my appointment. When they didn't get my confirmation they canceled my appointment. Then they said they could see me because someone canceled. While I was filling out paper work they called me to the desk. Even though I was paying through straight medicaid for the eyeglass exam I had to pay $15 for the drops. Since I couldn't pay the $15 they didn't give me the test. When someone is on straight medicaid insurance that is through the person's disability check. It should be obvious they can't afford the $15. Before someone says what you can't afford to pay $15? No I can not after bills I don't have any money left. $15 might not be a lot to some people. To me that is a lot of money."

"I’ve been loving The Eye Place and Dr. Ken Holloway has been awesome. They have amazing eye equipment, the Dr showed me the inside of my eye, and explained why it’s healthy. Very thorough, knowledgeable, and most of all communicative about your eye health which helps to ease my mind. They had me in and out within minutes which is a huge plus in my book. Absolutely love the staff as well. Extremely efficient and knowledgeable."

"Got My Glasses back today (July 19th) and I love them!!! I got glasses for the 1st time Last yr and the Experience was a pleasant Experience and this yr I had another pleasant experience i highly Recommend this Place!"

"We traveled from Dalton for my child's appointment. After leaving work, driving home, and then to the dental office it was well over an hour of driving while also having two other children to drop off with one having a sprain ankle and being a single parent. It was our fault initially for being late. We walked into the office exactly 15 minutes late as I immediately looked at my phone while standing at the desk to tell the lady we were 15 minutes late. She then asks for my child's name, does a couple of things, and then she looks at the computer and says, "It is now 16 minutes after, and we have a 15 minute grace period. You are going to have to reschedule." I was not rude and simply explained to her I was 15 minutes late, and was in there in the time frame she just specified. She continued to say she just looked at the clock, and it is now 16 minutes. Two other women were sitting right beside her and witnessed the conversation (finding out one of them was the manager although she sat and said nothing at this time.) I then ask the woman at the front desk if we can see if the doctor can squeeze us in as it was a long drive for us. She said she would see, but she doubted that he could as they had appointments every 15 minutes. We sat waiting (close to 30 minutes). I then went back to the desk to ask if she found out anything, and I told her if they said we couldn't be seen today if I could please request to speak to the doctor. She told me I could not speak to the doctor, but only the manager. A different woman then walks up at the desk being the manager who had already witnessed the initial conversation. She tells me then very arrogantly their policy is 15 minutes, and we have to reschedule. I told her as politely as possible we were there in the fifteen minute time frame, and they were not following their own policy. She was rude and continued to not understand their own policy. I again asked to speak to the doctor. The doctor then comes out a few minutes later. I can only assume he was misled in our conversation prior to coming to speak to me. He was initially smiling as I explained what happened. He told us their policy was fifteen minutes. I explained we were there in the fifteen minutes... He tells me we have to reschedule and motions us to the desk. I told him they were going against their own policy. (Another woman walks in seven minutes late at this same time.) Very nicely and calmly I told him, "I honestly feel like I am going to have to leave a negative review." He said, "I don't care about a negative review. You can leave now. He then proceeded in front of children in the waiting room and with my child present to walk to the door and hold it open while telling us to leave. His staff and himself were arrogant, non-empathetic, autocratic and very unprofessional in the way they spoke to myself. I was not rude but only stating facts in which they never addressed. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in a medical facility. I am a Registered Nurse, and I would never speak to my patients in the way I was treated by this office. I felt unheard and unvalued as a customer. Advice to this doctor; educate, reprimand, or hire new office staff who show empathy and kindness to your clients instead of the haughtiness they attempted presenting to myself, and I am sure others. Also, don't assume and side with your office staff following their lead prior to even speaking to your patient or their family."

"Not sure why there are some bad reviews other than it being the writer had a bad day and something little set them off or just being an unhappy person in general. In my opinion this is the best eye dr ever! I have had glasses since I was 2 and my old eye dr had stopped accepting my insurance so i came here. Dr is very knowledgeable and sits down and explains whatever you need him to. I never felt rushed for one second. I can write something about every person on the staff on how they went above and beyond helping me. Love this place!!"
