"I’ve been seeing Shelly here off and on for almost two years. She has always been so helpful to me. She sits and listens to everything I have to say and doesn’t rush the visit. And I always appreciate how seriously she takes my complaints and explores all treatment options. I feel she truly cares about her patients, she’s knowledgeable, and is just a good person in general. I have no complaints about wait times and would recommend them to anyone, especially Shelly!"
"Dr. Hester and his staff are absolutely amazing. Not only professional and highly competent, but truly amazing people too who really care about their patients. What a blessing to have them in our community!"
"Dr Hester has done surgery on my ankle and on my husband's shoulder and knee. He is the best around and we would DEFINITELY recommend DOSM for all your orthopedic needs. We wouldn't want to use anyone else!!!!"
"If I could leave a zero I would. If you value your health and you like to be treated with respect and compassion then I suggest finding a different doctor’s office. I was seen here recently for a back injury I suffered at work, I have had to go through different doctors in order to finally get referred here through the worker’s comp process. After finally getting and appointment I came in and explained my injury and the circumstances to a nurse and then to Dr. Boatwright who seemed completely apathetic about my circumstances. I explained that my pain was getting worse and the environment that I work in involves constant heavy lifting. He was in the room for all of 5 minutes before saying we’ll send you for an MRI and leaving. As I checked out I noticed that he had put me in to go back on regular duty at work, I explained the the person checking me out that I didn’t feel comfortable with that as every other doctor I had seen said that further strain on my back will make my injury worse. She called the doctor who then lied and said I have been on regular duty for two months which was completely untrue. I provided the note from my other doctor who I had seen earlier that week that noted I was to remain on light duty. After making me wait at the desk for about 10 minutes Dr. Boatwright came up and asked what the problem was and I again expressed my concern with going back to regular duty. I explained that I was not asking to be written out of work, just stating that I cannot perform regular duty heavy lifting without hurting my back more. Dr. Boatwright proceeded to tell me that he saw no reason that I couldn’t go back to regular duty. I continued to give him those reasons but he said that he wouldn’t do anything until I had results from an MRI. I responded by saying that I didn’t understand why he would make me risk further injury while waiting to get an MRI that is supposed to show what exactly my injury is and that with the workers comp process it could be weeks or months before I was approved for an MRI. He said “I don’t think it will cause you further injury.” With that it was clear that he didn’t care for my concerns and didn’t want to put any real thought into my treatment so I left and was referred to a different provider."
"Dr Hester did an excellent job with my hip surgery. I was back to work 6 weeks later. Shannon Hilley is great about explaining everything that needs done."
