"Been having trouble breathing after having COVID, breathing results suggested asthma and I was referred to a specialist. While waiting on treatment from the specialist I have asked for additional Prednisone(steroid) for inflammation to help me breathe, it's the only thing that has helped. But Dr. Argo doesn't "feel comfortable" prescribing daily Prednisone even though it's only until I'm able to get proper treatment from the pulmonologist. I have been on Prednisone daily before for 6 months back in 2018. I shouldn't have to beg for a stabilizing condition and Dr. Argo did not offer any other options for treatment so I'm stuck with poor breathing for two weeks until I see the pulmonologist. I will be finding another PCP."
"LOVE Dr. Argo!! He is very personable, caring and knowledgeable. LOVE the nurses and staff! They are all so friendly and actually care for you!! Very clean waiting area and patient rooms, as they should be! I'm so thankful for Dekalb Family Medicine ❤"
"This practice will lie to your face, better yet, over the phone telling you that you your urine is dirty and that you don't have a prescription drug in your system that is not uncommon to come up negative especially at such a low dose. And somehow tramadol of all things magically appeared in my system??? I do not recommend this practice or Dr Scott Argo at all. I feel like I've been stereotyped and the Dr will not spend any time with you whatsoever and shrugged off the fact that I wanted to be screened for cancer as I've been told previously by other Dr's that it's a possibility. If you go in make sure if your a guy that you don't have long hair. And dress a little different because you will be terminated at some point if they don't like you. That's all I gotta say about this. Heed caution."
"Dr. Ham is good. But we have a problem with the office staff. My husband has been out of work 6 weeks because the office staff couldn't get paperwork done for his job in a timely manner. They faxed the wrong paperwork, unfinished paperwork, and took days to do it, and even said they didn't have a fax number (even though a fax had been sent around an hour earlier). The last paperwork that was given my husband went and waited for the papers instead of having it faxed because it usually took days for them to get it sent. And he still can't work because of the dates that were listed. Instead of the date starting when the issue occurred almost 2 months ago, the date was put for 2 days ago."
"I see Doctor Ham, and he has always been a wonderful Doctor to my family. He cares about his patients and if doesn’t have the answer to your needs he will see you get the best Doctor for whatever you may need for special needs. Thankful to have such a a smart Doctor."
