HCA Florida Lake City Hospital

"Well I have a few complaints about this hospital. Let me start by stating the first. When I was seen for a life threatening condition that I still have, the Dr who treated me at that time didn't run any test or hospitalize me to see what was going on nor did i get any relief from the pain i was suffering from. Instead I was sent home to suffer. Let's just say I have nothing good to say about that Doctor. Second complaint is my boyfriend was seen here for severe abdominal pain he was having only for them to send him home for constipation. Remind you they did a CT scan and still seen nothing which later he was seen by a GI Dr who actually found massive cancerous polyps. Never a good experience here."

"Zero Stars!! Worst experience ever at a medical facility! No communication. Dr.s refuse to keep patients updated as to their condition and plan of care. Was threatened bullied and and forced to leave facility against my will due to fear for my safety. No discharge instructions no follow up from dr. This facility caused far more harm than help to me."

"Absolutely ranks near the bottom, Very disappointing, Nurse with eyes rolling hair flipping and male nurse wanted to give me a little nursing test on Pro BNP numbers as we were leaving the ER. I was not the patient but the caregiver for patient on Heart Transplant list.Before you turn a patient into an enemy, check yourself it could be detrimental to your job,,,I have now provided them with a small slice of my resume so next time moron wants to act like a jerk he may want to think twice. Who knew this is now a thing,,, Get your papers together folks, in case they question you or your knowledge,,, Didn’t know I was applying for a position,,, They couldn’t afford me,,,"

"My husband took me to the ER twice, a week apart and both visits were great. All of the staff I dealt with were professional and caring. I had the same young lady put my IV in both times and it didn’t leave a mark (I wish I could leave her name but, I cannot remember it but, she wore gold sparkle Crocs). During my second visit I was sitting with my husband in the hallway curled up in a chair and one of the nurses that had not worked on my case, gave me a pillow to make me more comfortable. Every single person we dealt with was very companionate and truly concerned. I have been to other ER’s in the past and not had such a good visit so, I felt it was only right to share my good experience with others. Nobody wants to go to the ER but, if you do have to go it’s nice to be around people that love their jobs."

"This was one of the worst hospitals I haver been to 3 years ago. I try to avoid at all cost. But me and my husband literally had the best experience in the last few months. The staff is the best now. I have so many nurses I can name but I can't remember all but sherie from ICU stands out. So full of energy and joy. SImply amazing! Best hospital experience ever! Thank you all!!!!!"
