Reviews
"Review is for the Labcorp office at this location only. Was my first time going to this LabCorp location. I won't ever go back. I can't believe this place is ran the way it is. Not professional at all. The staff all seem angry and unhappy. Not one friendly person. Was like a contest who can be the rudest. Was very strange. Most of the customers are elderly and I felt so horrible for them to be exposed to this staff."
"I was a nurse at CHP for 2 years back in 2004-2006. During this time, my young mother became very sick with metastatic breast cancer. I was on FMLA, but would come to work after taking my mother to her chemo/radiation treatments as I was her only child. I was very exhausted, depressed and stressed as any normal human being would be after taking care of their only surviving sick parent. One afternoon, I was called into the office by the nursing supervisor (NW) and an MD I was helping out at the time. They both looked at me and pointed out that I had made several minor mistakes such as forgetting to call patients back in a timely manner or not answering all the calls. My then nurse supervisor then asked me, “Have you thought about doing something other than nursing?” The doctor agreed with her. I was so hurt that I just responded, “I’m not sure.” You see, the moral of this story is while NW was able to go on with her life after work every day, I was preparing for a life without my mother. She and the MD lacked sympathy and morals. This is a company I’d rather unalive myself than work for again. Because of people like NW and this MD, the medical field has taken a huge crash because they’re inconsiderate beings who should not be in the medical field. I buried my mom a few weeks after that day in I was called into her office. I left CHP shortly after and 17 years later, I am still a nurse and never once has a supervisor/MD ever asked me have I considered another profession. I do not recommend this place. Hopefully, she’s chosen another profession and he’s retired."
"(Was there to see Dr. Angela Bradford)I went in to speak about weight management. I arrived at 8:30am and the lady at the front desk was prompt and friendly. My name was called at 9am. My vitals were done by a very friendly MA. I waited in the room until Dr. Bradford came in at 9:22am. She sat down and asked me what i was there for so i explained my concerns about my weight gain in the last year (as i mentioned at my first appointment about 9months ago that she never addressed at that appointment because i was there for anxiety instead.) After me going through EVERYTHING that i have tried to lose weight, she tells me that my body is in starvation mode and that a body cannot lose weight with vegetables. WOW! So i asked her, so there is nothing that you can help me with? and she did the "dead" signal with her hands "i will not prescribe you anything". Not that i had asked. I was asking for help in this process. So after her rude and uncalled for comment, i walked out. This doctor has NO bedside manner and no compassion to the things that require a gentle approach on. I walked out of the office at 9:30am."
"TV blaring in office waiting room. "Vanessa" behind the counter would close her window so she would not have to hear the blaring tv on. I asked if she would turn it down but refused. Waited 2 hours to see an eye doctor, not one person in the waiting room. Then when my son's turn came up I was told I couldn't go with him. He has a brain injury and has trouble remembering things. Horrible experience. I do not recommend the eye clinic by the governor square movie theater in Tallahassee Florida."
"The CHP Infusion Center was an excellent experience. The infusion nurse, Libby, did a fantastic job. She kept me informed regarding the arrival of my medicine. I waited less than five minutes in the waiting room. Libby started an IV so easily that I was amazed. (That’s uncommon for me. I’m the patient that sometimes takes five attempts and two nurses.) The center was very clean and quiet. Each patient had privacy thanks to positioning of recliners and frosted screens. Bed side manner and patient comfort were top notch. I’m not only impressed, but I’m also grateful."
