"My wife had a stroke and we had to go to ER. She was there for 7 hours while they waited for a hospital room to become available. The ER room was dirty and antiquated. She was left in room without anyone much checking on her and no food. I had to go get her something to eat. Now once she was in hospital room things were better. Room was clean and very nice. Staff was wonderful and friendly. They got her food and took good care of her. Even the Security guard at entry was great. They need to get better in the ER!"

"From the ER experience to the ICU was amazing. Up until it wasn't.Within days of my partner being there, some of the nurses were just rude and negligent to her needs. She was told she would be going home only to be sent to the 5th floor and have her in an old storage room!!! No bedding, nurse was cold with her introduction and they took her to get a CT scan without even being told! I guess you are only good until they see you have no insurance .."

"Absolutely worst hospital in my opinion and sad part is I use to love it I volunteered there from 13yrs to 18yrs and wanted to be in the medical field and thank God I didn't because I would be Absolutely ashamed to work for/with such careless,lazy, incompetent, and ignorant staff. That much of our tax dollars went to a remodel but everyone I know that has went in there hadn't come out and this time my mom is in waiting room and still ain't been seen after gashing her leg open and it going numb waiting 3 hours in the waiting room.Its absolutely rediclous and the audacity of the staff to act like we owe them something or who is she to be getting upset. That's my mom and I we pay your paychecks think about it that way. Thomas county should be ashamed to support and advertise this place and I've had 5 close friends die who came in for simple procedures, my daughter was Stitched up after the Indian doctor tried to have me arrested. Because I told him it hit an arterty and he told me it didn't. Within hrs going to Moultrie hospital who sends us by ambulance to shands to find out it In fact it did hit an arterty in which a team of thirteen doctors had to perform surgery because he couldn't do his job right the first time. Then they want to tell somebody that they're completely fine that they don't have clots but go to tally and get admitted immediately and their excuse is its just been busy. So I have successfullymanaged and ran million dollars establishments and I have been in management most of my life. I can understand if it takes forever but quality of service is good. What I don't understand is s***** service and people don't know how to do their job and they die and get staff infections and threatened to be arrested when doing what any of them would do for their family members. It sounds like to me you'll need a regroup and figure out what you're going to do about your emergency room staff and your hospital bed problem. Because apparently you don't have what you need, you don't have well enough trained staff to move people in and out correctly or you don't have enough room. So in that case, you might want to upgrade your customer service skills and quality of work, so you can get more grants. But you and definitely ain't getting nowhere with rate you're at now. It's pathetic and saddening to those who don't have time to drive to other nearby counties or facilities."

"Today I came to emergency room to be treated for an infection from a tooth being pulled, and while I was here there was an elderly lady laying on the floor when I walked in, at least 45 Minutes later, after hearing her cry for help endlessly, she starts throwing up blood clots all over the floor, puddles of blood. All over herself. I jumped up immediately with several other patients and began trying to care for her! I let the front desk know and they just sat there and watched this happen! This is so inhumane! This lady needed help! Why was she left out here for so long in this condition?? There’s no telling how long she has been laying in the lobby floor! I will be praying for everyone of the heartless people on the staff here today that just stood around and watched this happen! I know for a fact if it was your own family member you wouldn’t let something like this happen!"

"No sense of urgency in the ER. Nursing staff doing more talking and sitting at the nursing stations than helping patients. 1 star only because of the speed of EMS and their not even part of the system but play a critical role and were great. Fallrisk patients are on their own. You call for the restroom and someone comes 45 minutes later. No mask wearing. Maintenance not performed. Are you really safe here."
