"Worse then 1 star. Dr. Murtagh is the worse doctor I have met. He isn't for the patient at all. He will write you off immediately, if you or your family member are a "complex" case. Lazy is the best way to put it. His has his own beliefs and tries to force them upon you. He refuses to think outside the little box the hospital demands he stay in. Will withholding information when asked specific questions about treatment, instead of trying to educate you. Read up on the statics of whatever it is you need to see him for, because that is the outcome path he will put you on. No fight in him to try learn something new from science and medicine. His interest and research in medicine stopped when he got his license. May God serve his rightful judgment on you one day for the "lost cause" patient you could have helped."
"My husband went there today after going to the main hospital and then to two different urgent care centers. The last one sent us to this hospital. My husband has really bad knees and his knee was super swollen and went he went in the room and the doctor came in she wanted to just send my husband in his way because it wasn't an emergency. (My husband's knee is bone to bone and needs to have surgery). Then she said that she wanted to send him to urgent care. We then told her that the urgent Care center sent us to them she finally did and x-ray and then just sent him home. The room my husband was in had blood all over the wall the door and the wall was cracking."
"If it was possible to give a negative rating I would. We waited 4 hours to be admitted and when we got a room it was filthy, the bathroom in particular was sickening. The nurses never had an idea when the doctor would show and all the while having a horrible attitude if we dared ask a question. After discharge I called back to ask a question regarding a medication that was prescribed and the response from the nurse was " I don't know, use your best judgement", even though they are the ones with medical training. It was a horrible experience Phoebe has got to so better than this!"
"Had to take my son's girlfriend to the ER 3 days after Hurricane Michael for an abscessed tooth. We walked in, never sat, went straight back into a room, received immediate care, pain medication, a CT SCAN, and IV antibiotics. Were in and out in 3 hours! Everyone was so kind, even though they were going through so much with the fact that their homes and families were affected by the hurricane as well. Nurse Tricia was amazing. Thank you Phoebe North!"
