"I can’t rave enough. We took my daughter here 2 years ago for an asthma attack and the staff immediately crowded her and was on top of taking care of her and did such a good job with her. I went last night for severe pain in my abdomen from vomiting and they took the same amount of care. They were attentive, I was never left alone for long, never had to pester someone for anything, both my daughter and myself were in and out in 4 hours (most ERS we spend 6-8 hours). Cant express my thanks enough!"
"Apparently, they have a policy where anyone under 16 can't visit a family member. Unfortunately, I have a family member that visits hospitals regularly due to her condition and I have never come across this "policy". They make the dumbest exceptions like if you have something to bring and a child under 16 then it's fine. On top of that, there wasn't one sign ANYWHERE in the lobby to enforce such a "policy". Either they need to make it real and at best have a waiver for the consenting parent to sign or get rid of it like other hospitals with better ratings. No one could answer me when I asked what this policy was for, meaning its made up. Not to mention the screaming patients down the hall wanting to be let go. I have never been so utterly and negatively amazed at the ghetto unprofessionalism of this hospital."
"N.E. GA BARROW. Is 10xs better the when it was Barrow Regional. The techs, Nurses, and Dr. Are so polite, friendly, informative, and when you hit the call button. There not aggravated, or rude. There more then happy to help you out. There on top of your medications. Let you know when they or some one else will be in. The nurses and Dr. Are happy to answer any questions of your treatment. Dr. Parth Amin is very polite, friendly and genuinely caring. He explains in detail his treatment plan. Best DR. I've had in a very long time"
"Terrified to come here based off the reviews, but it was either this or drive 25 minutes away. My son was in excruciating pain and requested I call the ambulance. I figured with the world and staffing shortages me taking him would be faster. They took care of him immediately and was very attentive to his condition. Ran test and gave him meds to help his pain until he was able to calm down. Sadly we had to be admitted and transferred to the hospital I was going to initially take him. I love the staff for going above and beyond for my son. Thank you all who were on the night shift in this emergency room."
"I absolutely love this hospital and the whole staff! I brought my father in who had an accident and declined as he was neglected at another hospital system. From the moment we walked in the triage nurse was sympathetic, listened, and showed she cared by even offering a hug. (3days prior to my father my mom had a molded heart attack- it was a week for sure) the registration lady was also very caring and helpful in uploading my father’s information. The nurses were all amazing and didn’t complain or make my dad feel worse when he had an accident. Instead they tested further and so glad they did! The Doctor - his words” God gave him a gift and he is here to use it!” The lady who gets the trash in the rooms came in to do so and didn’t realize the doctor was in there and apologized. The doctor said,” oh don’t apologize, I’m glad you’re doing this job- thank you!” You don’t see that a lot from doctors and that warmed my heart more! Because of that doctor and the many nurses is the reason why I still have a dad and my kids have a papa! He now has a pace maker and on the road to recovery! Words cannot express the amount of gratitude and appreciation I have for everyone at this hospital!! Hands down the absolute best!! Thank you all!"
