"My first experience with this ER was a Saturday night when I was dizzy and disoriented with blood pressure issues. I thought I was having a heart attack. The Doctor, after ignoring me for hours, approached me asking when I last smoked. I don't smoke but he was convinced. I received no care and was told to leave. It turned out I had a tumor that stripped me of my electrolytes which was the cause for my symptoms. I've had to go to the ER monthly since then until my surgery to correct the sodium/fluid level in my body. The doctor was younger and this was in august 2023. It's very scary that they assume drug use. I don't even drink alcohol let alone drugs so you can imagine the shock at being accused of taking them. VERY unprofessional. A CT of my abdomen done at the following ER visit showed the tumor causing my symptoms. My warning is, please advocate for your own health. These doctors here are quite dismissive and neglectful. Apart from that visit, the wait times are always 4-6 hours for me before any treatment is given. I've been here 5 times this fall and that's always been the case."

"I had been in pain all day and was hesitant about going to the ER but i finally decided to go. Why i just didnt go to Opelika. This place is awful! No communication! Wait time is terrible! I was there long enough to get a hospital band! I left cause I refuse to sit there for hours in pain if im going to be in pain i might as well be in pain at home."

"Don't go here if you have something beyond a typical emergency. My spouse was there for 6 hours, waiting on confused staff and was told to go home, and go to Opelika if issues persist. 4 weeks post hysterectomy and atypical bleeding, and they couldn't even figure out how to take the bed apart for her exam. Staff was nice, but that doesn't go very far when needing Healthcare outcomes."

"I came in bc I fractured my foot and I was very impressed with the hospital. It’s clean and I was to the back in no time seeing a doctor and getting my X-rays. The doctor was very nice and professional. My RN was the greatest his name is Matthew. He kept me laughing even though I was in a lot of pain. Everyone was great! I highly recommend this hospital."

"I would give more than five stars if I could. My husband was soooo sick— couldn’t hold anything down for longer than 30 minutes all throughout the night. We finally came here at about 2:00 AM. We waited about 4 minutes and they got us back. They were able to start an IV right away, and they provided so much insight as to what was going on. They took such good care of us and everyone was very friendly while doing so. HIGHLY recommend."
