"I am not one to give a bad review but I did NOT have a good experience here. I do NOT recommend anyone going here if you have POTS or IST. Started with the receptionist I spoke on the phone with too book an appointment, never actually booked it. Drove 45 minutes to find this out… we all make mistakes, I let it go rescheduled to find Dr. Marcum cannot help me. I am from out of state and I am just trying to continue the care I was receiving prior to moving to Tennessee as I am also pregnant and it is important that I see a cardiologist regularly per my pre-existing cardiologist. Dr. Marcum seems nice but he really didn’t care to listen to me or how my previous cardiologist was treating me. Just proceeded to tell me he doesn’t treat patients like with medication and if I want medication to see someone else. He also referred me to see someone in Nashville to hear about why medication is bad. Even though I was only put on medication because I needed it otherwise I was having seizures and extremely fast heart rate and hospitalized. He didn’t want to hear it he did not take me seriously. I left his office in a complete emotional wreck. I am so frustrated at his lack of care and how he made me feel mocked & humiliated… Really missing my old Cardiologist, never did they ever treat me this way…. I am very disappointed and will not be returning here."
