"The restaurant was clean and the service was great! I had the hashbrown scramble with sausage and a Texas chicken melt. The food was delicious. Great for any time of the day The staff was very friendly. Ask for Bri J if you go."
"The absolute WORST experience I have ever had at a Waffle House. From the absolute horrible service of the waitstaff, who did not even acknowledge us as we entered the establishment, to the HORENDOUS attitude from the supposed manager. We spent almost 10 minutes at a table before someone came over to even get our drink order (the other 4 people inside had already been serviced and had finished their meals before we even entered). Once our drink order was placed (3 sweet teas, one for a toddler, and a diet coke) we waited another 8 minutes before drinks were brought. The only drinks brought out were 3 adult sized sweet teas, no straws and no silverware. We continued to wait for the diet coke to be brought and still had to ask for it a second time before it was even attempted. As we went to order our food, my husband went to order the new breakfast steak to be informed "oh we don't have that anymore" when it is advertised ALL over the restaurant and on the menu. We ordered the rest of our food which included two SCRAMBLED eggs for our 3 year old toddler. We waiting 25 minutes to receive any of the food (which we are STILL the only customers being serviced) and the first two items to come out were a t bone steak undercooked, and two FRIED eggs that have been cut into smaller pieces to mimic scrambled eggs. When a manager was asked for, the supposed manager came over with an attitude asking "how did I mess up those eggs". As I tried to explain all of the issues we had already had she proceeded to cut me off, speak over me, and then yell at me for daring to speak against her. I have never had such absolutely horrendous customer service. This entire nightshift staff tonight needs to be replaced. Its no wonder they were so dead tonight,"
"You can't go wrong at Waffle House. The food is consistently good. The service at this location is fast, attentive, and friendly."
"It was a very nice atmosphere. I had to take a seat for myself since no one acknowledged me as I entered. The food and coffee were okay not great but definitely good. My waitress did not do a great job of waiting on me only coming around twice that is why I am only giving them 4 stars. I think they can do better. There were only 2 waitresses and they seemed to have been working there for a while since they were very comfortable on not coming around as they should."
"What a disappointing visit. No one, not even Anthony Bourdain, is going to confuse Waffle House with fine dining, but there's usually a decent meal to be had here, filling, tasty enough and not too terribly hard on the ol' wallet with brisk, sometimes friendly, sometimes perfunctory service. Today, well, today, I got none of that. Today, the service was nonchalant at best, even though there were two corporate WH employees on site (one was interviewing applicants) no one seemed to be in a hurry to even seat me. I had to ask if I could just seat myself because sometimes they want to direct you to a section (usually they acknowledge you as you walk in the door) and was indeed directed to sit "anywhere over there". And then, I didn't see my server until I had been sitting there awhile, had looked over the menu had put it down and was on my phone for a while. I noticed that there were new menus and that the price of the "All Star Special" really wasn't that special anymore as it was now over 11 bucks for my grits, eggs, ham and a waffle. But, hey, everything's expensive and I'm hungry so while I'm not terribly thrilled with the raised prices I go ahead and order because I was getting a delicious breakfast with scrambled EGGS after all... right? Wrong. The eggs were not delicious, they were COLD. My toast was burnt. The grits had large lumps. I was never offered jam or "butter" (spread, I think they called it) for my toast - let alone asked if I wanted wheat or white. The country ham had been removed as an option on the menu and the city ham had gristle in it that made me feel like I was chewing a sidewalk, not to mention enough grease, on both sides, that I had to take napkins and wipe it off before I could get to said concrete! I asked for a to go box for the waffle and wasn't given any syrup, utensils or "butter" - good thing I wasn't at a hotel (this location is near the Gwinnett Convention center) without any of those things. All in all, a dismal encounter. I'll think twice about where to get breakfast and I sure won't come to this location again, not even if my car dealership *is* just down the road and it's a convenient location for me to stop and get breakfast."
