"Unfortunately because of the staff I can not give his office any positive feedback. Dr. Hendershot is a great person, and does put concern and thought into his patients. It is hard to help anyone without the proper testing though, many refuse to believe this. But, the power hungry megalomaniac staff is out of control. It's not just one person either. This problem has been consistent with many others at WVU Medicine. This is a small community, many people know each other well here. The amount of disrespect and downright lack of anything pleasant is off the charts. Absolutely no reason what so ever should these people talk to, look at, or slightly give the impression that the PATIENT/CUSTOMER is below them or their time. I would rather stand in line for a self check out booth. Then deal with these glorified co-pay collectors! But, Hendershot is great.. Don't disregard that."

"I originally had been seeing Lauren Alexander, she was great! I think maybe Dr. Hendershot has too many patients or something. I’ve seen him for a while now since Lauren moved to a new location, he seems very rushed and apathetic. Will be switching Drs very soon."

"I am really disappointed in him. Every visit I leave feeling I was ignored. He doesn't seem to take my health issues serious. I was face to face with death under his care. I called about serious issues I was having, took 2 weeks to get a response. I called everyday with the same issue. Again ignored for 2 weeks . I lost all trust in his care. Last visit he stated that I like to make up stories about what was going on with me so that it made sense in mind ,but didn't mean it was true. I Definitely will be changing doctors."
