"We came from Brazil on a diplomatic mission to spend two years in Maryland. My son has TD1. I went to Dr Cong and she welcomed us very well. At first it is confusing because of the cultural difference. But overall, she respected our self-management decisions and took care of Miguel very well, guiding and directing him in his diabetes care. Soon we will return to Brazil and I cannot fail to recommend the doctor for her excellent work!"

"Dr. Ning tried to put my son on puberty blockers (many years ago) saying he will have stunted growth if we didn't. She said he would not grow taller than 5'5" if we didn't start the blockers immediately. After getting two more opinions, we decided against the blockers. He is now an adult and is over 5'8" which is about the same height as his dad. Furthermore, I have since researched the potential long term risks associated with the drug Lupron--risks associated with fertility and bone density, . This doctor did not even advise us of those risks or if she did, she minimized them, because I don't recall even considering those things. Avoid this doctor."

"We thought Dr. Ning was good until my daughter aged out and had to find a new endocrinologist who did a series of extensive blood tests and found some startling results which she is now being treated for. Further she had seen Dr. Ning two and a half months before going overseas and wa required to bring a six month prescription with her. Dr. Ning would not give it inless she made a video appointment. She did not have any blood work, no exam, no new tests of any kind. She simply ask for and got the prescription and we were charged for an office visit over $160. I called billing and the office manager and they were not willing to help and would not let me speak with the doctor. This is FRAUD. Avoid this doctor and this entire office!!!!"

"Yesterday morning I took my daughter to see Dr. Ning because my daughter's TSH is pretty low from her recent blood test. I found that Dr. Ning is very skillful and knowledgable. She patiently explained to us potential reasons for the low TSH and future steps on how to address this condition."

"Dr. Ning is an absolute Godsend for diabetics. I was diagnosed when I was 12 years old and I am now 24. She remembers every single detail about myself and my family from the first time she ever visited me in the hospital. Through all of the chaos of my first diagnosis, I remember our first interaction as well. She immediately instilled a confidence in me that forced me to tackle my disease, rather than let it bring me down. I am now a very independent diabetic and I meet my a1c goals every time. She is thorough and patient. She will answer every question you have, or point you in the right direction to get the answers yourself (which is important for young diabetics to do). She will listen to your concerns, and devise a plan that works for your lifestyle. In case of emergency, she will give you her personal cell phone number. I don't know too many doctors who do this. She truly cares about each and every one of her patients. If she cannot help a patient get to where they need to be, she will be honest and send them to an endocrinologist who is a better fit. She is smart. Her front desk people make me feel like family. One of the nurses, Edith, has spent hours directly working with me to make sure I get the medical devices that work best for me. Dr. Ning held onto me as a patient for as long as possible, but had to hand me over to another doctor as I grew older. I just called her office to ask for another recommendation as I moved farther into DC. Dr. Ning personally called me to check in on my health, and patiently discussed the doctors she recommends. Thank you for continuing to care for me long after I stopped being your patient!"
