Reviews of TBB 122
"We loved our experience both times we went! First time we just stopped in at the bakery area for to go coffee and pastries and the second time did a sit down breakfast! Great coffee drinks and pastries. Loved the chai pumpkin scone! For sit down breakfast, their shakshuka was amazing! Great matcha too!"
"This is a great addition to Alpharetta but I have some small and somewhat larger complaints. If you’ve read some reviews, you’d know that they don’t season anything (hardly) and the older white woman (this is the owner) isn’t very friendly… all of that is true. My mom and I decided to try this place and when we arrived (on a Tuesday morning, 1145), we were greeted by someone very unhappy with “do you have a reservation” (in a very snobby attitude). So, I matched her energy… “who needs a reservation at 1145 on a Tuesday” and she quickly changed her tune. Food selection was great.. we ended up with the shashuska and the sweet potato bowl thing with lamb and a side of potato’s. The potato’s weren’t seasoned at all… like very under salted. Our entrees were good, no complaints but maybe size wise. Our server was super sweet and very attentive but I felt towards the end she was almost rushing us (probably because the owner was wanting to turn tables.. it was busy). We ended with two pastries that were very delicious. Overall, I’d go back. I’d give this place a try for dinner and would come back for brunch. Would I go out of my way to come here? No, but it was average at best."
"On a cold, lazy Sunday, our family decided on a Sunday brunch at Tbb122. Here is a summary of our experience. - Ambiance 5/5: Loved the cozy vibe with couches and tables. Especially on a cold morning. The place was warm and bustling with people. The decor is chic and upscale and inviting for a great time with friends and family. - Service 5/5: The service was great. The food was served to us fast and prompt in a way that we never had to wait for it. We were regularly served what we ordered the servers were very polite and considerate. - Food 3.5/5: While some were a surprise for me, some staples were a little below expectation. a) For starters we ordered cinnamon rolls and let me tell you they were great. I am not a fan of cinnamon and even I loved it. The sweetness and crispiness were just right. So much that I could easily eat it. It was huge though :) b) TBB Assorted pastry board: We all loved the Apple walnut one. The pumpkin one was too sweet and I don't remember the other ones c) Roasted chicken sandwich: The sandwich was okay but the toast was overdone and difficult to chew d) Farm egg omelette: I liked these since they were not mushy and right the way I like it e) Shakshuka: The shakshuka was good but a little too sour for my taste but will wanna try it again. f) Tuna Conserva Sandwich: We expected a sandwich with cut tuna pieces but beware this comes with one large Tuna patty. Not the best but was okay g) Soft scramble bowl: The bowl was good and looked like a complete meal with greens. I am not a fan of mushy scrambled eggs though but my partner liked it. - Value for Money 4/5: I think the place is not cheap and the food is on the costlier side. Given that, if you include the ambiance and the service, it is not a very bad deal. Overall a little costly but I recommend their cinnamon roll and apple walnut pastry. Also, if you are a fan of well-done omelette, you should try their farm egg omelette."
"We first went to TBB because they don't use seed oils. But then we were astounded by the quality and flavor of their food! Not to dwell on the health aspect, but it is difficult to find a restaurant that cares about the quality of the ingredients they use. We regularly order the fresh carrot/ginger juice to accompany our morning cappuccino (pictured). The avocado toast with a fried egg is yummy and hearty! And the outdoor dining under the shade of the ancient oak absolutely sets your day on the right track! Are you looking for dinner? You will love the romantic ambiance when the lights go down (see video) in this modern Greek-designed interior. We've enjoyed many lovely evenings here! Some of our favs are the charcuterie with an Old Fashioned, the oysters, creative pastas depending on the season, and locally sourced pork and chicken. The menu is ever changing which is fun because we can't wait to see what they will come up with next!! The only negative I have is that TBB uses the credit-card-at-your-table system. I greatly dislike this new method of taking payment. I understand the benefits. It just really puts an uncivilized exclamation point on an otherwise lovely evening."
"We came here Friday morning at 11:00 and had a wonderful experience with the beautiful ambience, selection of gourmet pastries, cocktails, and savory brunch menu. Things you should know: I. PARKING There's a free private parking lot behind the restaurant. We had no issues finding a space, considering how early we arrived; however, as the morning progressed we saw all the spaces were filled as we were leaving. II. SERVICE Our waitress was a sweetheart. She was attentive but service is a bit slow. III. QUALITY Although a lot of people will comment that the food here is "pricey," it's worth it. You're paying for the esthetic and cozy environment to make memories with loved ones. Highly recommend the Georgia Mushroom Toast, Shakshuka, and btw. Perfect balance of flavor and TEXTURE. IV. CAPACITY Slow morning at 11:00, with various options of seating available for a reservation. However, it soon started to fill up here. I say, make a reservation and the sooner the better."
