"Ok, but wow!! I definitely hoped this place would be good, but it exceeded expectations. It's a neighborhood gem. Cozy, welcoming, and memorable. Big portions - great place to share dishes. The prime rib was massive, could definitely have shared that as well. We got the creamy field peas, prime rib, and arugula salad. Everything was excellent and wowed us. I only had the wine, so haven't given the drinks a try yet. This is definitely one of those places I want to put on my regular rotation. It's not a place with a ton of options, and if you're going to have a very simple menu, it definitely needs to be standout. And they do - trust me, they do what they do VERY well, and is one of the best examples of simple menu with excellent dishes that I've seen in ATL recently. Go!"
"Can’t wait to come back to try the food! We sat at the bar for cocktails and wine. It was excellent. Unique cocktails and interesting wines by the glass. Service was spot on. See you all soon."
"Wow! I was blown away by the food and the overall experience. Five stars ⭐️ all around! We sat at the bar and had an unbelievable fresh melon salad, a squash and vidalia onion casserole (it looked like a vol au vent and was deliciously light, yet flavorful, fresh and rich at the same time). We also had the creamed field peas with dill - and what a delicious combo of flavors- almost like having just caught wild trout (no fish flavors just conceptually) ! Lastly, we had the roasted eggplant with peanuts, miso and herbs- it was divine and tasted like a fresh black cod (texture-wise, again no fish flavors) with roasted bananas. Wines were totally unique and delicious: we had Helena- a white falanghina varietal, and we followed it with a Rioja Altanza reserva. An extraordinary and unexpected experience. Plus: great value for money and a super cool crowd. We will be coming back here regularly … at least weekly!"
"Highly recommend! The porchetta sandwich has changed my life and I tell everyone I come into contact about it. Went from prime rib and they were sold out but I’m glad because I’ve never loved a sandwich more than this one. The pickles on it are to die for! Katherine our server was a doll too. Can’t wait to go back! Beer was great too!"
"Great new bar/restaurant in my neighborhood. We tried a couple of the dishes including a delicious Porchetta with a crackling crispy skin and an equally yummy shrimp tostada. Cool selection of vintage 70’s era glass and some legit bartending going on here."
