"A friend and I went to try this spot for amala but unfortunately they didn't have any that day so I got the Banga and pounded Yam and my friend got the egusi soup. We also got some orders on meatpie to go. Everything was delicious! And service was quite good as well. The restaurant is also well decorated and clean. Prices are a bit higher than other restaurants but the food is worth it."

"Mama J’s has set a new standard for Nigerian cuisine in my book. The jollof rice and fish were fresh and tasted really good. I also ordered a meat pattie to go and it was delicious. This was my first time trying a meat pattie so I didn’t have anything to compare it to until a week later. Let me just say, Mama Js meat patties were sensational compared to the others. Customer service and atmosphere were great. Very clean establishment."

The food was fresh, hot, and super delicious. Her restaurant was super clean, and Mama J is such a sweet, funny and kind woman, with an awesome vibe. She can really cook and is proud of her business.
