"I'll be blunt. I'm picky about catfish because catfish fat is revolting. The filets have been super clean and fried to perfection. The sides are generous and generally good. Can't speak to any deserts. Fried catfish is a simple dish. There is no room to hide mistakes etc. It is either perfect or not. Perfect three times in a row gets 5 stars."

"Walked in and walked out when we saw the prices. Very expensive so I hope the food is beyond good … I’ll never know because I am not paying $20 for some chicken tenders. I do not care for “monster tenders” and the prices are not competitive. Besides when we walked in and walked towards a table , the lady snapped at us that the side was closed. There was not one single person in there so I don’t see why it mattered where we sat. We had no idea we had to order at the front. Either way, we saved money by going down the street and had more than enough food. I wanted the catfish and it was also over priced. And before anyone says the portions are “monster sized”, I do not like large portions like that. I prefer smaller, well cooked pieces."

"I had the catfish with hush puppies and cole slaw. It was all good. The catfish piece was a little thin but still moist. Hush puppies were crisp on the outside and a little too soft inside for me. The mayo based slaw was crisp with just the right amount of juice. Not the best I've had locally but definitely good."

"ONION RINGS!!!! Some of the best if not THE best I've ever had!! I had to say that first! The food was delicious!!! The catfish was perfectly cooked! The servings are HUGE!! Come hungry!! The service is great...down home feel. Kudos to everyone!! Bring a wheelbarrow for your belly to ride home in."

"The shrimp was large and perfectly cooked, crisp, and not greasy. The onion rings were near perfect, and the coleslaw was above average. There is plenty of food at a fair price. I would recommend this place to family and friends and would go back."
