"Very good! Despite the scary reviews, i took the risk the risk and ordered the Large oxtails with white rice and rice n peas, withe an add on of Mac n cheese. I also put a special request for xtra gravy which was executed! The photo doesn’t do the oxtails justice. About 9 THICK pieces(I did order the large for xtra $, u get what u pay for) So all in all take the risk and order it because this is the best oxtail plate I’ve had yet…"

"Update Review: Came back on Saturday 01.27.2024. I ordered jerk chicken and curry chicken again. It was a HUGE disappointment from my first visit. The jerk chicken was OLD and DRY!!! Why serve your customers old and dry chicken? Make and serve FRESH food! As a customer, I don’t want your day/night before food! I want fresh food! Whether dining in, take out, or delivery! Extremely dissatisfied! The curry chicken was still pink on the inside and hard!!!!! Why serve your customers undercooked chicken? GROSS! It appears this maybe a hit or miss Jamaican restaurant. So disappointing I thought I had found me a go to Caribbean restaurant while visiting on this side of town. Oh well….the journey continues for a good consistent Caribbean restaurant. More than likely I will NOT RETURN. _____________________________ Visited here for the first time today 12.26.2023 I had curry chicken and my hubby had jerk chicken. It was hot and tasty! There was a young lady serving us she was very pleasant even though she had a difficult customer with the oxtails. She even got our two chicken patties for us. Cons: I do NOT LIKE how they charge you a 4% “Non Cash Fee” do not penalize me for using a credit card nor add/pass your credit card fee to me. Do NOT charge me a Non cash fee. The food was delicious and we will be back! My soursop drink was delightful."

"OMG! Never have I ever received so much food on my plate. I ordered the ox tails, peas and rice, with cabbage and plantains and my husband had the curry goat. We ate on these plates for 2 strong days with leftovers to throw away. The flavors were wonderful and the portions were huge. Had we wanted the same thing, we could've shared one plate and still had some for later. Let's not forget the lemonades they have fresh and true to the culture. Amazing! I can't even remember what flavor I had but again my husband had something different from me and it was great also. Stop by and try this place out if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed."

"The first time I tried Golden Crust it was good, the second time it was okay I said “maybe it was an off day”. The third time my curry chicken wasn’t cooked all the way it was still pink and hard on the inside!!!!! THERE WILL NOT be a fourth time. Three strikes and you’re out!!!!! It’s so hard to find good Jamaican food when I’m on this side of town, as I don’t live in the area. Recommendation: You should ensure your cooks etc follow the recipes to be consistent."
