"Delicious! I had the Curry Chicken. I opted for the rice with beans, cabbage, and sauce on my rice. It was excellent! The meat just melted off the bone. I didn’t need a knife at all, just a plastic fork. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a selection of Jamaican soft drinks and juices. I had a pineapple soda. It was great! There’s not a ton of seating so when it gets busy you’ll have to get your food to go. What a gem!"
"Like many others, I don't usually write reviews (Unless you are exceptionally great OR horribly bad). Well this food I ordered from Jamrock is the ABSOLUTE WORST Jamaican food I have had in my entire life. The Chicken Soup tasted bad. The Escoveitch Snapper, rice and Peas, and the plantains were all very dry. Even the Coco bread wasn't right...didn't have that underlying sweet taste. The beef patty also was dry and hard around the edges, as though it had sat in the warmer all day. I was very disappointed in my whole order. Worst 40 dollars I have ever spent."
"I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but the food isn’t edible. White rice is over cooked, curry chicken taste more like smothered chicken, and the plantains dry as ever. Also the coco bread seems old… or it’s whole wheat. Who know…but I never had a whole wheat coco bread. Please do better. This is not my cultural food taste like. Please represent better."
"50 something and this is the 1st bad review I've ever done. It absolutely had to be done! The cabbage, rice & peas were over cooked and lacked seasoning. Curry chicken was fatty, over cooked and again no seasoning. The jerk chicken seemed to be oven baked, definitely not on a grill, also lacking seasoning. I can't believe Jamicans actually cooked this food. It's sad. The pictures you see are after I shelled the food out to my family on plates. It was not all eaten. 1st and last time eating here. Try your luck! YUCK!"
