"First chicken gizzards are hard to find but good gizzards are even harder to find. This place has some of the most tender gizzards I have ever had. Their fried green tomatoes were perfect Southern made. Can't beat the price to quantity food ratio. Great place to eat."

"Chef T's is yet another BBQ diner off route 431. It isn't the worst BBQ I've had nor the best! It's good tho and I did enjoy it. The best part of this diner was the genuine southern hospitality the staff greeted me with throughout my experience. The chef even came out from the kitchen to make sure everything was okay. The menu is priced at a steal if you're looking for a quick cheap meal on the go."

"I got the gizzards plate with collards and pasta salad, a roll and a cornbread muffin. Overall, an 8.5/10 experience. While the outside could’ve been a bit crunchier, these were the most tender gizzards I’ve ever had. The pasta salad tasted phenomenal, though it was a bit too soft and wet for my preference. The greens could use more flavor (easily fixed with hot sauce), but their texture was perfect. I also liked the roll, though I found the cornbread to be too dry. It was a lively place. The service (Shawn) was great and you could tell the workers have built relationships with the regulars. I will be visiting again!"

"Wow! So glad we finally found our way into Chef T's! What a hidden gem! The service was outstanding and the food was even better! Had the beef liver and onions with mashed potatoes and Cole slaw! Liver was tender and gravy was hot and tasty! Mashed taters wer good and the slaw was outstanding! Easy to tell that Chef made his own slaw dressing. It was just sweet enough! Wife had chopped pork BBQ with fries and baked beans. Gotta say, she ate it all but some fries. And I tried the baked beans and man, they were perfect. A few onions and a spices sweet taste that I could not figure out. Really good! Got a piece of homemade Pecan pie to take with me for later. Looks amazing also! Y'all really need to try Chef T's in Alexandria Alabama! It is the best!"
