"Had to come and try out since everyone is talking so much about the new ownership. The French dip and fries was really good. Everything fresh. The fried mushrooms was good but not as big and not as many as there used to be. (Use to getting whole mushrooms not sliced) I do miss the one trip salad bar. They charge 13.99 for the salad bar. But you can purchase a side salad. And you can’t purchase pasta or potato salad as a side anymore per our server. Service was good so thankful for that. I would go back."

"I dined at Jenkins today for lunch with a friend. I had the chickrn salad. Chef Wesley went back to the original recipe. It is absolutely the best. And what I remember. My friend had the French dip. It was better than it has ever been. Friendly staff and great service. So happy that this restaurant is staying locally owned. Chef Wesley True is definitely one of the best chefs in Tennessee . Cleveland is lucky to have him .Give it a try! You won't be disappointed"

"Went this week to check out what all the hype is about. I was NOT disappointed. I haven’t been to Jenkins in years because the food quality was so bad but this trip I was pleasantly surprised to actually have a good meal and great service. Keep it up!"

"Went for lunch today. Had heard it had been taken over by a another restaurant owner. Had heard some bad reviews and went to check if they were accurate. Got there just before noon. Was seated quickly. Waitress took drink order quickly, and I saw someone who came in after me get there drinks before I did, and I just ordered water. He seemed to be a regular, but still, I'm a customer. Once I got my drink, waitress took my order. Cheese sticks came out fast, hot, and a decent quantity. Good quality too. Next, my fish and chips came out, promptly. Good quality and quantity as well a near perfect cooked fries. Hush puppies were good, but small. Overall a good lunch. Price is worth the food quality, just need to tune up the service. I tipped well anyway, because they have bills too. I met the new manager, and he has his head on straight. I think it will improve when they get the staff up to speed. I'll be back!!"

"We visited Jenkins today for lunch and both the food and service were incredible! Jenkins has always been one of our family's favorite spots to eat and today's experience moved it up on our "favorite list" even higher. We're not sure what has changed with the recipe, but the chicken salad sandwich was top-notch. It tasted just like it did years ago at the old Jenkins restaurant. We also had a chicken sandwich that is new on the menu. The portion was large and it tasted better than any chicken sandwich around. To the owners...THANK YOU! We've always loved this restaurant and the changes you've made to the menu are great. We're looking forward to visiting again very soon."
