"We never actually got to see the doctor so this review is mostly to the facility. My husband had a consultation today at 10:20. We showed up 30 minutes early as requested. He waited from around 10:00 (after registering) until 10:20 and was taken back to an exam room, everything right on time so far. At 11:20 he hadn’t even seen the nurse practitioner let alone the surgeon. No one had even had the courtesy to advise him there was a delay or apologize for the wait. He walked out and request a refund of co-pay from the receptionist and was never even asked for a reschedule. How are you an hour behind 2 hours into the business day? Do not recommend."

"I would like to share how grateful I am for Dr. Mark Johnson and his staff! Below is my story about my accident, but first I would like to sing Dr. Johnson’s praises! After my accident, I experienced daily deep pain and tremendous rigidity I thought I would have to live with the rest of my life. I experienced intense pain daily (from a scale of 1-10, it was a 10...in my right jaw, neck, right shoulder, elbow, hip and entire right leg all the way to my toes. I could not function normally on a daily basis. Many days, it hurt to even push the gas pedal on my car, and I could not turn my neck left or right to drive safely. At night, the pain was so intense I could not sleep well. I would try laying on my right side to snuff out the pain to no avail. I sought alternative treatments because I was seeking healing, not a bandaid. That is when I found Dr. Mark Johnson. From my very first visit, Dr. Johnson listened, asked many questions in detail, and I could tell he was truly concerned about my pain and my healing. He made a personalized plan the very first day and addressed every one of my issues, one at a time, with compassion and grace. And I had a lot of issues (practically the entire right side of my body). He and his staff are compassionate and caring. They sensed my fears, made me feel very comfortable as I began treatments. I felt relief in each area he treated that day from the very beginning! (Eg. that first night, I could sleep on my right hip which I had not been able to do in years!). Some areas took more treatments than others, but today I can tell you I am walking, dancing and living life to the fullest, healed and pain-free! PAIN FREE!!! I praise God and Dr. Johnson! Dr. Johnson is blessed by God with his gift to treat patients leading them to HEALING and resuming a pain free life to live in joy! My accident: On August 5, 2013, , I slipped and fell head first down 19 steps, flying down like Superman, crashing into the wall, then onto the floor, resulting in a C-2 fracture (broken neck..same break Christopher Reeves experienced that paralyzed him), humeral head fracture (broken shoulder) and radial head fracture (broken elbow). Miraculously, I stood up, walked outside and walked 3 sharply slanted lots over to a neighbor’s house. He was home (but normally at work!), calmly assessed me as he was educated to do and took care of me until help arrived. (Days later, I discovered he had been a first responder for years before retiring!). I was airlifted to Vanderbilt. To say I am blessed and grateful is truly an understatement. In the ambulance, I wanted to talk and words would not come out. All of a sudden, crying, I started speaking and said The Lord's prayer. 1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. God heard me, He carried me through more CT scans, MRI's, X-rays, and numerous discussions of emergency surgeries. Doctors could not decide which surgery to perform first: neck? shoulder? elbow? Less than twelve hours later, they walked into my "room" in the trauma unit, and said they were releasing me to go home in a neck brace without any surgeries! All of my fractures were in place! Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. God is the great physician and I know He heard that tearful prayer in the ambulance. I am walking, working, and taking ballroom dance lessons! Deuteronomy 31:6 6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” So, I have faith God is turning these ashes into beauty in my life. Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
