"Fine quiet hike with lots of switchbacks and sometimes steep steady climbing. Hollers and pretty views along the way to Grandview, where of course, the grand view worthy of this climb! 2.6 miles one way. We parked at Glade creek in a pull over area across from the trailhead which is not well marked. Look for the gate and start climbing!"
"This trail is on an old road and takes you down 1400 ft and then back up. It is easy to walk since it is more of old road than a trail, but no openings to look out, it's just a bunch of trees... Will not do it again... Have to cross the street to get by the water."
"This is a cool spot! Takes you down to the remains of an old coal town. It's like straight down and then straight up, but if you looking for a gravel trail at a steep grade this is your move."
