Reviews of ALDI
"Aldi is one of the very few grocery stores that I will shop at consistently. Even though prices are going up steadily all these always beating out the competition for price. Recently they've added hydrogenated oil to their bread so that's the only thing I have to get someplace else. I hope they remove this ingredient soon, but the store as a whole is always my go-to choice"
"I like this store, the prices are very affordable, but be careful when checking your purchase. A cashier tries to charge me for a bag of cheese from $1.99 to $27.86. If I don't realize it, they charge me more. I realized it because I calculate what I buy, and Immediately upon checking my amount I quickly increased my budget, I had to tell the cashier to withdraw that amount and correct her error."
"I may not enjoy the fact that you have to bag your own food and pay $0.25 for a buggy. Butt the cheese and meat selection was so amazing. I made two beautiful charcuterie boards for 2 parties. We did all of this for under eighty dollars and everyone was super impressed with the food."
"The store is rarely stocked, most items online aren’t actually in store and they’ve usually only got one cashier working with a line 12 people deep. Ran in for 3 things and waited 40 minutes in line. Give us some self checkout lines to make it easier on these poor folks."
"Today was my first day ever shopping at Aldi’s. My experience started off great. The aisle were labeled with descriptions & it made it easy to find everything. A lady that was stocking greeted me & informed me that they were out of bags. I got my 15 item shopping list done in 10 minutes thanks to the organization. When I got to checkout that’s when things went bad. My cashier Erica had horrible customer service. She did not say anything to me. Not a hello, how are you, or anything. I saw the guy before me didn’t have bags so I asked her did they not have any bags. She said they’re below. I was unaware that you had to pay for them. I grabbed some bags & she just kept saying how many bags you got while I was trying to see how many I needed. I just grabbed five & hoped I had enough. She started ringing items up & I was bagging trying to make sure I had enough bags. She finished scanning everything before I could finish. She rudely said “umm can you hurry up & pay”. It took everything in me not to react to the horrible customer service. I paid & she walked away. I will never return to this location again. I was really impressed with the display & organization of the store, but I am big on customer service. Train your employees on how to treat customers. Inflation is way too high to spend hard earned money during these times in place where you’re treated like an issue."
