"I hope this helps someone. Part I: I broke a bone in my leg a while back. After I fell, despite the pain, my brain told me to just get up and start running. Except that, my leg was broken. I couldn’t even stand up. It happened so fast. I don’t know how to fix bones, and, I really wanted my leg to be as healthy as possible. The most beneficial step that I took was to act early, and get a subject expert on my team. An Orthopedic Surgeon in this case. He was able to help me understand 3 things: 1. What is going on inside my leg that is causing pain. 2. What we can do to start repairing it right now 3. How we can make sure that it continues to heal My ankle feels much better these days. I’m so glad that I acted early. Part II: I started experiencing severe, life threatening symptoms of Depression/Anxiety a while back. It built slowly over time, and I didn’t realize how unhealthy I had become. I don’t know how to fix brains, and, I really wanted my brain to be as healthy as possible.
