"I've been putting off writing this review for a few days because there are simply not enough words of praise or stars to rate this amazing women's service with. So, I'm going to try and keep it as simple as I can. I'm not going to restate what has already been written. Her gifts as a counselor are innumerable, I will say from my own experience that Katie is one of the most down to Earth people that I have ever met. No nonsense, no fuss, no enabling, no overly intellectual talk from this lady ever. She is a regular person with some amazing gifts. After struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and anorexia over the last twenty plus years and letting the base of these issues limit me in my personal, business, and creative life, and seeking countless counselors it was a god sent to have finally landed in the office of Katie Knox. Her healing went immediately to the core, she made to open up and read her my personal story page by page which no one has ever made me feel comfortable enough to open even just the cover. She has a way with her powerful and fast insight that makes everything reassuring. Not many people can say what she has said and have it land in your heart the way she does. She has been gifted with keen vision and bold heart. She emanates true compassion. Katie has changed my life for the better in a profound ways. Basically, Katie saved my life, or better yet she is helping me save my own life..... On top of that, Katie helped me save three very important relationships from destruction, one with my husband, one with my two wonderful boys, and most importantly one with myself. This might sound dramatic, but it's all true I owe my current life to Katie. With her help I am on my way to being higher functioning in every way. My kids are happy and thriving because they finally have a momma who is learning to be with them in the present not stuck in her broken past. I don't know how I could ever thank her enough.. "I would not recommend Katie Knox and Associates for any sort of counseling. My husband and I were referred to Katie after we lost our baby at 37 weeks. Initially we had an appointment the week after we lost our baby; however, due to issues with my recovery after birth, we had to call and reschedule. My husband called and spoke with Katie, who said to someone else in her office "The only appointment I have this morning is with the couple who had the stillborn." Her insensitivity to the issue was extremely hurtful as we were grieving the death of our firstborn; however, we tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, and we rescheduled with her. When we showed up to the office, 15 minutes early, like Katie had requested, no one greeted us. After waiting five minutes, listening to blaring pop music in the waiting room, my husband popped his head into a room to let someone know we were there for our appointment. A woman came out in black stretchy pants and went into Katie's office and talked to her for several minutes. Katie came out after, with her mouth full of food and chewing loudly and told us that she didn't have us on her schedule and that she had someone else coming in at 1:00. She told us to hold on and went into her office and told Siri to call a certain person, which was clearly audible to us in the waiting room, which I'm sure violates patient confidentiality. She then came back to the waiting room on her phone and talked to said person. In the meantime, my husband and I decided that we felt extremely uncomfortable talking with someone so insensitive and unprofessional, and we excused ourselves from her office without rescheduling another appointment. We highly recommend seeking someone else if you're looking for someone who shows any sort of empathy, professionalism, and/or compassion."

"Katie is a very warm and inviting person. She is very open, honest, and caring. Katie is very compassionate. Katie is not judgmental and wonderful at what she does. Katie makes it very easy to relax and feel comfortable telling her your issues. Katie's office hours are very flexible. Her office setting is very warm and inviting, and easy to find. I feel very safe when I am with Katie at her office. Katie is very good with taking your phone call if you need her after hours. I would recommend Katie Knox to anyone who has been struggling with issues, but is scared to seek help. Katie is my lifesaver! I can not say enough good things about Katie Knox!!"
