Comprehensive Urology Institute: Dr. Michael J. Scolieri

"This place is literally the worst doctor's office I have ever been to. I was referred here for pelvic pain and they diagnosed me with pelvic floor dysfunction. The diagnosis was correct, but they did some in office "therapy" with a machine that did not help and cost me about $1500 out of pocket. When it didn't help the first time, they had me do it a second time. They kept throwing overactive bladder meds at me that didn't help. I asked if seeing an actual pelvic floor PT would help and Kelly flat out told me no (this was a lie, FYI, they just don't make referrals to people who are actually competent). Eventually, I saw my gynecologist and she told me I should ask for a cystoscopy before agreeing to any surgery. I called and left a message requesting the cystoscopy and something else and someone named Amber called me back and was excessively disgusting to me, arguing with me, telling me my gynecologist can't just make a suggestion to get a cysto, they regularly give the InterStim to people who don't have a diagnosis; all with a nasty attitude. I ahd also requested to meet with the doctor because maybe he had some information up his sleeve that one of the CRNP's doesn't have. I was told by Amber that Dr. Scolieri doesn't see his patients because he's always in procedures, but she can schedule an appointment for me, he just may not show up. I canceled all appointments after that and got a referral to Dr. Apostolis. He sent me for PFPT, found a uterine fibroid, and recommended a hysterectomy. My uterus was also adhered to my abdominal wall. Time spent at Dr. Scolieri's office - about 1 year and zero improvement Time spent at Dr. Apostolis' office - 2 months and 95% improvement These people will rob you blind, refuse to actually treat you, refuse to refer you to someone who can treat you, and allow you to be completely miserable. They are utterly incompetent and I wonder what type of doctor literally won't see a patient until they're on the operating table. When I explained all of this to the other doctor's and medical professionals, no one was surprised. That should tell you more than enough about why you shouldn't go to this place. Now, before they try saying I'm not a patient there because I don't have a record with them, my last name on this account is not my current legal name. I did see on another post that they tried to discredit another reviewer due to their account name not matching their legal name, as though that's abnormal."
