State Board of Education, Charleston

"State Board of Education is a joke !!!! My child gets suspended for five days for taking up for herself. But, yet the school in Fayette County and the board of education calls it bullying, harassment, and etc. So I call the state board of education and he tells me nothing he can do where my child took it up on herself to stick up for herself and say something back they consider that retaliation so therefore they can suspend her. So both places are telling me that it is okay for students to bully other students but the student that it getting bullied can not stand up for themselves and if they do they are the ones that will get in trouble because the board of education and the school considers this retaliation. Excuse me but how is this right. All I hear is these teachers saying let’s stop the bullying well first and for most it starts with you people !!!! It would not let me post this without giving one star but they do not deserve that one star."

"I'm so Disappointed in this system. There is NOTHING in the PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS FOR BEHAVIORAL CHALLENGED CHILDREN. They are literally winging it. FIX IT! I could leave a 100 messages and not get a word back from these people. Absolute waste in the money for our schools education system!"

"Your state has one of the worst education systems in the country. Too bad the children can't stop going to school until they are provided with a quality education, but then the parents would be fined and in jail. Any time you have to fine people or give them jail time for not being there is never a good idea. Over half your teachers in that state are unqualified."
