"This is the best flight experience within driving distance of the DC metro area. The instructor, Mr. Brian Collins, is very friendly and knowledgeable. I've done gliding and powered flight and can say that gliding is far more enjoyable. Without an engine means it is serene and quiet. I was lucky that I could thermal with an eagle when I was up in the air with Brian. You also don't need to wear any hearing protection because there is no engine. We were up in the air over an hour chasing clouds to get lift and then exploring the beautiful West Virginia scenery."
