"I am so happy I found this place! I am newer to Bridgeport and tried other groomers for my dog that I didn’t love. From the moment I dropped her off I noticed heart to heart has a professional and nice staff. When I picked her up she was happy and her haircut was even better than my expectations. They will be her groomer from now on."
"Heart to Heart has clipped all of my dog's nails. They allow walk-ins for nail clipping. They have always been awesome and professional. They are very good with every pet I have seen there. Excellent!"
"The staff is always polite and always ask questions about my dogs and they are very caring. Only groomers I have used since getting my Lucy 5 years ago. Love this place!"
"I have a new puppy and we began getting her groomed. Heart to Heart came into mind as friends said it was close and convenient to our home. The grooming rates seem high. My little dog has been here three times. The first visit no issues. Pricey but went ok. The second - her hair was almost entirely cut prior to going and just needed touched up on her face and paws as she was sprayed by a skunk and we shaved her body to remove the scent. Still charged 35 for her face and paws. The third and now last visit ~ much different. Due to Corona-19 we are not allowed to enter. The owner has a huge dog that stands at the door. I believe may be her personal pet. Which is great that she allows her dog to be at her workplace but greeting at the door my dog became terrified. She has never been around another dog let alone a large one. As anyone knows, not all dogs react the same and dogs even sweet ones can become aggressive or fight with another when scared. The groomer came to the door, foot shoved her pet inside and said he/she wouldn’t hurt my pet. Having an iPad to check in ~ she asked me what I wanted for my dog. I told her a short summer cut. She didn’t even look up and I handed my dog leash to her where as she began to neck drag my puppy that weighs 8 pounds toward the door. My dog was evidently scared of her dog and I asked her if she would want me to pick her up because my puppy was afraid of her dog. The groomer said she didn’t want to drop her iPad and proceeded to pull my dog toward the door. I stopped her and picked my puppy up. I handed her to the groomer and she just bluntly said, will call when she’s done. Upon picking my pup up, she was cut in many angles, her hair was in multiple lengths looked like the clipper marks were all through her fur. She looked like it was rushed and her face and tail were scissor cut in multiple lengths. Very poorly cut. The groomer walked out handed me my puppy said it would be 48.00. I handed her a 50.- and she went inside. No change given and no offer for future appointment. I was not rude. I was not nasty. But this is not customer service and certainly not cheap. I will be in search of another groomer. Perhaps this helps when you make a decision to care for your pet and a puppy new to grooming should be treated kindly to become adapted to the process. The big dog at the door was ridiculous. Not impressed at all. I came home and reshaped my pets fur just to get her by."
"I took my toy poodle, Bella, here to get groomed today. After getting her back home from Heart to Heart I noticed she was acting odd. I looked her over and noticed blood on the blanket she was laying on and on her stomach. She had a cut on her stomach, a large burn area on the opposite side of her stomach from the clippers and a knick on her lower stomach. Not only am I furious but the fact the groomer said absolutely nothing to me about the injuries when I picked her up is a slap in the face. It is unprofessional and disrespectful. Bella has never been hurt this bad being groomed ever. I will never take any of my animals here again and i will never recommend this groomer."
