"The new metal bleachers so much nicer than the old wood ones we had in the late 90s and early 2000. There is a nice wide wheelchair accessible ramp up onto the bleachers, the steps from the bottom of the bleachers to the top are wider and not as high of a step. The actual keachers are more closed in so that kids can't fall through to the ground under them. Less chance of losing possessions under t gf em as well. The visitor bleachers are metal and bigger as well. They ate waiting until the end if this football season to have the old power building torn down and tep look a ed to make nicer locker rooms for the visitors and well at the Valley Lumberjacks. There will also be bathrooms for the crowd in the new building, as well as a concession stand. They have made several improvements over the last 18 years, it just takes time to get everything updated. The parking is a problem. But there's not much room at the field to expand that. They are trying to get a solution for the parking and well as .maybe e a to split the areas for the football field as well as the baseball field so that they aren't combined. But it takes planning, time, money and workers to get it all done. We are all very proud of the improvements at our field that has been in use since the mid sixties when the schools of the Short Line area were combined."
