Reviews of Goodwill Thrift Store & Donation Center
"I have shopped Goodwill from Florida to Kentucky and not ONCE have I ever encountered employees as RUDE as this location. The "manager" (whom which does not deserve her title whatsoever) is the most disrespectful and has the most unbelievable approach with people. I watched her as she "ah ah ah" to an adult Hispanic male who left a pair of jeans unhangered over the rack. She practically waved the hanger at him. MIND YOU, YOU DONT EVEN HAVE DRESSING ROOMS TO TEND TO OR CLEAN ANYMORE SO WHAT IS YOUR JOB IF NOT TO REORGANIZE THE CLOTHES. Nobody in any respectable store follows people around and makes sure they put inventory back in the exact spot they found it or after they try it on. That's the whole point of YOUR JOB??? IF YOU HAD NOTHING TO PUT AWAY OR STOCK, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING THERE? These incredibly rude employees had the time to not only follow me and ask me ever so rudely if I wanted the clothes I left on the end of an aisle in FRONT OF THE MIRROR YOU CAN TRY THINGS ON BECAUSE THEY REMOVED DRESSING ROOMS, IM SUPPOSED TO WALK IT ALL BACK TO ITS DESIGNATED SPOT WHILE THEY CAN CHIT CHAT AMONGST THEMSELVES, BUT CANT WORK? They literally touch hangers and act like they're doing something and attack customers for not doing their job and for shopping freely. NEVER HAVE I EVER ENCOUNTERED THIS AND IM BEYOND DISGUSTED. I DIDNT WANT TO GIVE A DIME OF MY MONEY AND I WANTED TO LEAVE THE SECOND I WAS INSULTED. DO BETTER. Not one goodwill I've visited in the entire state of GA has behaved this way. So much so, one of your own employees was complaining about said manager. Absolutely a joke of a store and needs all new staff, truly."
"I used to love this place.. but that's not the reason for the one star.... the reason I gave this place one star is they got rid of their dressing rooms..They started doing this during the pandemic under the guise of trying to protect the public... 3 years later, they never opened them back up.. At first it was okay because they actually gave refunds if the clothes didn't fit.. which makes sense right? I mean you buy a pair of clothes that you're not allowed to try on, it only makes sense that they would give you a refund if they didn't fit.. When to many people started bringing refunds they realize it was a lot more profitable to just give store credit.. .... I'm sorry but when I go to Goodwill, I'm not buying stuff to just be buying it.. Anybody with half a brain knows that half the time clothes which say its your size don't end up fitting, and to me it's absolutely appalling that you don't let people try clothes on and then refuse to give refunds if they don't fit. Management tells you oh we give you a store credit, but that's a waste of time and a horrible horrible inconvenience to the customer because who has time to keep going back.. . To me that seems grossly unfair, and a horrible inconvenience for the customer.. But on the other hand, when you pay $0 for the merchandise, and sell for the markups they have under thr guise of "donations", I guess you can do whatever you want.."
"Been coming here to use Goodwill Career Center to look for jobs, use their computer for college homework, and at one point their phone when I lost my cellphone. Donating anything here can be tax deductible at the end of the year. A goodwill worker usually hands out a receipt of donation which is used for tax purposes. I used to purchase work uniform here since they always seem to have a variety of sizes available at an affordable price when other department stores don’t. Really great place to shop for used furniture or appliances in good condition."
"Having one register open when the line is so long it curves outward towards the sales floor is absurd. This location would benefit from a second cashier. I've been standing here for almost half an hour."
"Clean and spacious. Friendly cashiers. The kids section can use some love at least separate it by gender. It's all ages from infant to pre teen mashed together. The shoe section has some interesting finds. I love the mug section I always find a cool cup. I occasionally come across designer clothes so overall great shopping experience."
