"Dr. King is great. His staff is another story though. His office manager, Spicy, is the meanest, condescending woman I have ever met. She is the sole reason i will not go back"
"Dr. King is a 10 star doctor. He has taken care of my family for all their life. I can not say enough kudos for him. He is called to be a doctor by God and fulfilled that calling above and beyond! I have been exposed to many many health proffessionals and I have only experienced one other doctor that would even come close to being the quality doctor that doctor King is! That doctor is in Atlanta, Ga, Dr. Judith Volcy. Thank you to Dr. King and staff. Thank you for all the hard work and long hours you have and still do dedicate to your patients. You are an amazing doctor."
"The phone is always busy. There have been times that I've called and get a message that they are closed at odd times of the day. When I do get to speak with the very nice receptionist it seems Carrie is always with a patient and never calls me back. Once, a prescription was called in for my mother and they didn't even notify her. She was waiting on a call back from them to see if the doctor was going to call in a new medication for her and they closed the office without calling her. She just happened to think to call her pharmacy to see if anything had been called in and it had. There is one woman there that is extremely rude. I do not know her name. It's not Carrie and not the receptionist. The Dr. himself is great. Yesterday, I took off work and came from Paintsville to be with my mom for an EDG at PMC. Someone in Dr. King's office called to schedule it and told mom to be there. We get to the hospital and the EDG had not been scheduled, she was there for an appt. with Dr. Oon. Dr. Kin'gs office said she was there for her EDG. Two nurses told us that this happens all the time. That paitent's come in all the time thinking they are there for procedures or even surgery when it hasn't even been scheduled yet. Time for a new PCP."
