"My dog loves BHV, she's obviously loved by the staff, and I love that she never comes home smelling yucky! I also love that she gets to play outside and in a sprinkler pad during warm weather. Grey is an awesome groomer, very patient and thorough. It's a bit challenging to get daycare whenever you need, have to reserve well in advance and you may not be told if they're full or cancelling daycare altogether so have backup plans. BHV, please consider extending the 90 day limit on daycare packages to 180 days!"

"Our family LOVES Barking Hound Village Decatur. Our dog gets super excited when we say, "Time to go to puppy school." If he could, he would put on his own leash and drive himself over to the facility! We appreciate how much he is cared for and loved by all employees. Thank you so much!"

"I brought my dogs in for a temperament test and dropped them off around 8am in the morning. I thought this place would be a good fit because they sometimes frequent a daycare in our home town and loved the previous staff at Hound Playground. The BHV staff assured us that they would call by 2pm to let us know if they passed. We didn't receive a call all day so I thought all was well. 2pm rolls around and still no call so my husband decided to reach out, turns out the manager was too busy to talk to us and one of our dogs had failed their temperament test hours ago. She also reportedly had "attacked" two dogs and had been sitting in a crate all day. We rushed to pick them up immediately after this phone conversation and were told a completely different story upon pick up. No dogs were harmed or attacked. My dog had reportedly "barked and snapped" at other dogs and let them know she was not interested in play. They also couldn't give us the whole story because the tech who witnessed it had already left. I am not giving them this rating for not passing the test, because it sounds like they would truly not be a great fit for this group, but I would not recommend them to anyone because of their lack of transparency and issues with communication."

"I've been a customer of BHV Lofts, but the Decatur location is more convenient now that I've moved. They have been wonderful to my rescue pup Dudley and he doesn't want to leave when I pick him up. They have a fabulous splash pad for the pups to splash and cool off during the summer heat. It is very clean and doesn't have the ammonia smell some places have. Only issue I have is the webcams aren't always online. Not really a big deal, but when Dudley is there, I'd rather watch him all day then do work. So maybe it is a good thing :-)"

"I've been taking my dog here for over a year now and couldn't be happier with the quality of service and flexibility. There is almost always a report card sent to me every day my dog is at daycare or boarding. These are full of pictures of my happy pup playing with the other large dogs and gives me peace of mind while I can't be with my dog. It's really cool to see him with his usual friends in the photos, it feels like your getting photos of your child at summer camp! Everyone who works there is always so nice and the rates are a great deal, especially if you bundle daycare packages. The groomer is top notch as well, I know my dog can be a handful but they are always able to clip his nails, express his anal glands and give him a good bath. He comes home ready to nap, smelling great and looking even better!"
