"I was traveling late, rainy, and packed it in with my daughter, wth 4 hours to go, got lucky and found this nice place, very clean rooms, we lit property and super fast and friendly service, don't pass this privately owned and operated property. Excellent price and service."

"Room was half decent. The service wasn’t all the way good. I noticed a lil segregation also. Old looking building with a smell I can’t describe. The room was halfway decent. There were bugs everywhere. And the shower was extremely cold. The plug inns were burnt out and unsafe. Housekeeping don’t speak English and seem loud and rude. I was laying down half clothed and they just came in my room without announcing or saying anything. Overall it’s not a good place. I would recommend you keep driving on until you see something else."

"Amazing Hotel! We stayed here during spring break and I couldn't be happier. We were treated very nicely by the staff and the rooms were clean and nice. Our room had been renovated with beautiful new flooring! I would recommend Sylvester Inn for the people traveling in the area!"

"Lovely motel, was the only place to take us in at 3 am after driving five hours. Staff were very kind. Only problems were running out of toilet paper with no spare and small pillows."

"This was a very reasonably priced hotel. Basic...not necessarily perfect, but good for the money. There was a slight language barrier at first but we got past it easily when an associate helped. They were very accommodating and the room was nice, complete with a refrigerator and a microwave, which is always nice. Some tips though. Specify if you want your room to be non-smoking. They gave me a smoking room, and when I asked to change rooms they were happy to do it for me. They do have space for bus, rv, or truck and trailer parking, but it's hard to find the path for it at night. It's a gravel-ish path that's immediately before you reach their parking lot. Finally, when you're ready to use the shower, be patient. The water heater worked well, but it seemed like several minutes before the hot water made it to the shower. I'm glad I picked this place and would definitely stay there again."
