"the Plains Historic Inn was was a unique experience. I loved the theme of each room by the decades. My girlfriend and I were planning on spending the night in the 1930’s room but upon arrival a bridal party was getting ready in our room! The Inn keeper sorted everything out for us and arranged for us to stay in the 50’s room instead which was no big deal for me. I also liked the nice detail of the continental breakfast. However, I think the Inn could improve on a few aspects. 1) the WiFi was very week and only seemed to work in the main room. 2) the walls were very thin and I could hear everything our neighbors were doing. They woke up at 5AM, so we woke up at 5AM. It would be very courteous of the Inn to provide ear plugs. 3)Lastly, not a complaint, but I think the ability to book the rooms online would make reserving rooms easier. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are well worth the money and would probably book here again if I’m ever in Plains due to how unique the Inn is."
