"Life is Labs is an amazing organization. They give their utmost to give dogs the best possible life on a safe, secure environment with lots of exercise, interactive play with their staff and other dogs. The dogs are well-trained and well-rounded dogs. Their boarding training thar is also available is the best available and I highly recommend it. They take in pregnant mothers from shelters and give them around-the-clock specialized care. The facility is exceptionally clean and well-organized. I highly recommend them!"

"We adopted our puppy in May from Iwag (previously Life is Labs) in Atlanta and purchased their training program at the time of adoption. It is one of the best decisions we have ever made! They give you a discount when you buy the training package at the time of adoption, but even with out the discount I would still send me dog there for training. Our puppy, Lulah, went to the Temple location for 4 weeks of training and they did such an incredible job! When the puppies aren't in one on one training sessions they are playing with their small groups in the yard, which consists of 4-5 other dogs with similar personalities. So the puppy is not only learning formal training, but also socialization and how to play nice with other dogs. We went out to the site 4 times over the course of Lulah's training and worked with her and Darian (the trainer at the site). From the first visit I could tell Darian was truly passionate about her work and the dogs. She was very patient with us and instructed us on how best to keep Lulah's training going when we got her home. No puppy is going to come back perfect in just a month, and Darian not only taught Lulah so much, but taught us how to continue teaching her to become a perfect puppy. I also really like how they focus so much on off leash training. We live on a busy street and after the training I feel totally comfortable that Lulah will not run away or into the street. In fact she now has better recall than any dog I know (including our older dog at home who is great off leash). Any way, I cannot recommend Iwag/Life is Labs or Darian enough! They are truly an incredible organization that does so much good for puppies and dogs in need."

"I adopted my adult chocolate lab from Life is Labs almost 4 years ago and he is THE BEST dog that I have ever had. Yes, the adoption fee is higher than many other rescues, but the value provided is amazing. I had previously adopted from a humane society (many years ago) and spent a lot of time and money on training a dog that likely wasn't a good fit for my lifestyle at the time. Life is Labs worked with me to make sure that the dog I was choosing was a good fit. They also called my references to make sure that I would give him a good home. These folks do a lot of great work and if you are looking for a rescue that goes the extra mile, I highly recommend them."
