"I have shopped here for over 20 years, Ms. Shirley has been like a mother, therapist, and a best friend to me. She's seen me at my worst, my best, and everything in between. These people are like family to me, they always welcomed me with a smile and kind words. It really is the best thrift store in Chattanooga. They went up on their prices, but you are still getting a good deal. The quality is great, and they're very fair. I love this place! I would like to keep it a secret but the cats outta the bag, so enjoy. They do great things, Thank you NNH!"

"If you are in the market for higher end brands at “Holy-moly-I-just-hit-the-jackpot” prices, head straight to the Northside Neighborhood House Thrift Shop. This smaller shop specializes in quality clothing for men, women, and kids. I noted brands such as Lily Pulitzer, Van Eli, Ann Taylor, and Talbots, to name a few. Pricing was crazy reasonable with like-new tops noted at $4 to $6. They also have a large selection of shoes, some furniture and housewares. The thrift store helps to fund the rent and utilities assistance programs, as well as the school programs so your money stays right in the community. The staff is very friendly and proud of the work they do. A true pleasure to shop."

"Great people working here. The price of the clothing items are pretty high imho, but I’ve found plenty of good bargains for kitchen items, toys, books and baby stuff. Although the store is pretty small, This store is definitely one of the most well-kept and well-stocked in Chattanooga area."
