"This is a historical building. It's great for watching and listening to anything from concerts to plays. There isn't a bad seat in the house. It also has a balcony."
"I love this venue. Every seat is a good seat. Note: The bathrooms are on the bottom floor, as are concessions. If you have challenges with stairs it may be quite a work out. ~I am not sure if there are elevators in the building, as I didn't ask. I took this Styx photo from the balcony area."
"This is a comfortable, beautiful venue. It needs some cosmetic maintenance but the historical Art Deco features come through. It's just right for an evening concert."
"I've attended concerts here since the early 1970's. I was here for the Styx concert Oct 20, 2023, and it's sad how run-down the building has become. The seats are still good, real auditorium-style padded seats, and every seat is a good view (if the audience doesn't stand up!). But the walls and ceiling show cracking and peeling, and at intermission they had to close the ladies' restroom because of a water leak! The city really needs to renovate this historic building to accommodate smaller concerts that can't fill the newly-renovated Colliseum."
"The interior really needs updated. Almost every seat is obviously 20+ years old and they're super close together as rows so it's hard to get by seated people. Could definitely benefit from an upgrade as well as the ceiling and walls considering you can literally see cracks and damage in them. I've read other reviews that said the sound system was poorly and although it wasn't the greatest, I don't think it was as bad as the seating. Could also due with some cup holders on the arm rests."
