Reviews of Tiger Tails Animal Hospital
"If you’re in or around Atlanta Georgia area this is THE best Vet I’ve ever came across!! My Doberman is my baby she is 5 now and Dr.Nadine and her team always take such great care of my Nani!! From the welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in to the best care I’ve ever experienced for her - I would drive hours to get here if I had too! I always feel so confident that Nani is in the best hands. As a pet owner I know how important they are to us, and I have ZERO doubts that this is the BEST place for my Nani Girl. Thank you to everyone at Tiger Tails from Nani and I."
"The exceptional care, concern and expertise demonstrated by Dr Zack, Dr Kim and the whole team give me the utmost confidence that my Gypsy is in the right hands. I'm especially grateful that she no longer fears going to the vet because of the love they shower on her at each visit!"
"Always great customer service, and I love all of the staff from the vets, vet techs, front desk, etc. I really feel heard, and never pushed into any decisions. I've been going to them for years, and they're always so compassionate- I remember Dr. Kaala sitting on the floor when my dog was anxious. Now my pup has cancer, and Dr. Hannah is always fair about what options exist but also what is necessary or not. Everyone really genuinely cares about her quality of life, and I can't thank them enough."
"Dr Alex is the best! She is incredibly knowledgeable and explains every step in great detail. Her warm demeanor made my initial visit with my dogs very comfortable. The entire team was cordial, polite, and efficient. Facilities are modern. Would highly recommend seeing Dr Alex for any vet needs."
"Please re-retrain your front office staff. In the first week of april 2021, my old dog woke up, half paralyzed, and threw up a whole bunch. I called, the front office person said to take him to an emergency vet. I took him to all species, where they lied about letting him sit in a cart thing with a dirty towel and letting him die there and proceeded to blame me for things I would not have known weren’t my fault if I didn’t happen to take a forensics class, like the little red dots or petechiae from him drowning in his lungs. I was 18 and my folks were more than a 5 hour car drive away. 3 days before he died I brought him into tiger tails because there was blood coming out of his nose. They looked at him and listened to him and sent us on our way. He died of cardiac arrest and we later found out what my dog had going on could have been taken care of at tiger tails if the receptionist just asked a tech or vet. I blame tiger tails for this but they retrained their front office staff, so I’ve swallowed it. But I just asked if a partial degloving (editing this to say a couple things- 1. Probably not a partial degloving (thank god) but the top layer of his skin is gone, I was told by another vet tech not affiliated with TT that’s what it looked and sounded like, 2. If someone calls saying they have a degloving it is a huge emergency and your front office worker should have had a VERY different reaction) of in between my dog’s paw pads that likely occurred while getting groomed (so a bunch of bacteria was in there) was something I could get squeezed in for and all I could feel is that she was annoyed I was picking at the idea of him being squeezed in today without even asking a tech or anything to see if a partial degloving was very urgent or not. I asked her to ask if my dog should go to urgent care, after she came back from the hold all she did was repeat she can’t get us in today. I figured the conversation was going nowhere and ended it, this seemed like the kind of person and the kind of conversation where one side gets it stuck in their head what they think is going on (me trying to get in today) and that it’s not gonna happen. Still don’t know if I should go to urgent care and I can’t afford to just find out, guess I’m being forced into a position where just like my old dog, I have to wait to see if it gets worse to see if there’s something that can be done. Attaching pictures of my beautiful childhood dog, Deubel, that they let die at all species surrounded by people who didn’t care and left him to die in a cart with a dirty towel instead of just asking a tech or a vet what to do. Sad to see this attitude hasn’t changed and I am STRONGLY considering changing vets right now since this issue hasn’t changed. I drive all the way up from south dekalb to still go to this one."
