"Everyone was so nice and caring. The 2 receptionists , Murphi and Lilly are so nice and excellent at their job. The doctors assistant Madi, from the time I went in the exam room with my cat Daisy, til we left. she was so professional and caring. And the Doctor, Dr. Horton, what can I say, but AWESOME !!!!! She explained everything she was doing and what she was going to do for my sweet Daisy. Dr. Horton really cares about her patients and the folks who her patients belong to. THANK YOU ALL !!!!!"
"West Rome Animal Clinic staff and vet were very kind and compassionate. They got my dog in within a day when my vet couldn't get him in for several days. They did all the testing needed and didn't push any extra procedures that may have been unnecessary."
"I have used this clinic for over 12 years with my boxers. Dr. Coffman, Dr. Pate, and their staff have always gone above and beyond to ensure my dogs have the best treatment. They truly care about their patients & have great communication with pet owners. I’ve had to bring in my dogs for multiple surgeries (sterilization, mass removal, and hip surgery from an accident). Their clinic has up-to-date equipment which gives me peace of mind that they are equipped to give the absolute best medical treatment. You get what you pay for, and for my dogs, I want the best. I’ll be a lifelong customer.❤️"
"Absolutely phenomenal clinic for your fur baby. The staff are top notch , sorry for any misunderstanding . West Rome Animal Clinic is superior above any in northwest Georgia, don't hesitate to put your pets care in their hands."
"I have brought several of my animals to West Rome Animal Clinic. I trusted their opinions and advice. This was until I had an experience no animal parent should ever have. My sweet baby, Vern, was an 8 month old GSD. He was born into this world with a serious disadvantage. He was born most likely with a liver shunt which caused him to have seizures. They helped me in the beginning by referring me to a specialist. I believed, at the time, that West Rome was the best and closest vet to help us through his disorder. I was wrong. When we needed them most they let us down and most importantly, they let Vern down. When he had a major seizure episode, we rushed him immediately to West Rome just to be told they could not help us. They refused to give him any care and told us the only way to help him was to rush him to Chattanooga, which is an 1.5 hour drive. They could have helped us prep him for the drive up to Chattanooga. If they did, he would have had a better chance of survival. They wouldn’t even help us when we needed them most. We later learned that if they helped bring down his body temperature, his seizures most likely would have stopped and his organs would not have shut down. I would not trust them in any type of emergency situation. They clearly don’t know how to handle an emergency seizure situation. I hope they can see this review and improve their practices to ensure no other animal perishes from their lack of knowledge. If they would have helped us, Vern could still be alive. It feels like they care more about money and liabilities rather than the wellbeing of your fur babies. RIP Vern. You will be missed dearly and hopefully your death will prevent other animals from the same fate you suffered."
