Reviews of Fayetteville Animal Hospital
"We started going to Fayetteville Animal Hospital because it was close to our home. We continued going because of the care and customer service. As a dog mom, we want the best for our "children". We want to ensure they will be in good hands whenever they are sick or need something. I had visited this location a time or two, but when we had to put my soul dog down our relationship changed with the staff. All of them were so genuine and kind. We were never rushed or pushed to make a decision. And, although the vet had never treated my baby, she took the time to listen to his history and ask questions so we both could make an educated decision on his care. Now we take my goofball Franklin, and he is an anxiety nightmare. They handle him with such calmness and patience, along with some treats, and they never get frustrated or short with us. Thank you to all the staff, we appreciate all you do! Really, it means the world; thank you!"
"I was having some very concerning problems with bleeding from my 10 year old furry best friend, I started to panic trying to find an appointment before the holidays and they were kind enough to squeeze us in last minute When we arrived, we were brought strait back to a room, the vet came and asked questions, looked her over and brought in help. The issue was diagnosed within a few minutes, they handled her with care and love and reassured me when I was really upset. They were confident on the diagnosis and explained exactly what was happening and what I needed to do. After a few days of treatment, she is noticeably better. 10/10 would recommend and will be making the drive to see them in the future for any and all problems. Clean and beautiful facility, nice employees, smart doctors, kind people!"
"We had to take our Mastiff in due to him becoming lethargic and vomiting. They were very thorough in his treatment plan and were upfront about the cost. Unfortunately, we had to euthanize him due to his prognosis. They were very caring and considerate in helping us through this process."
"Our pets have better health care than we do. It's a low bar, for sure. Our pets are our babies. We are responsible for them, and we try to give them the best. Which is why we take them here. That said, the prices can be insane. I mean, you better be sitting down when you get the bill. It's a deterrent as we question whether or not if we should ever take our pets in. It's sad when we live in a world where our health and the well-being of pets are held for ransom depending on how deep your wallet is. Luckily, our pets are indoor pets, which eliminates a great many issues they could face. Still. It's frightening when you do need to take your pet in, wondering if you need to put a fourth mortgage on your (mostly) working liver to cover the expenses."
"I noticed my review was blocked. Thought I'd share again. I wouldn't take a rat to this place. I called and was in desperate need of my puppy being seen because he was vomiting and not eating. My daughter and I bring him in, we're immediately placed in a room( I'm thinking this is good). Were there maybe five minutes, a young lady walks in with a clip board asks a few questions...walks out and immediately returns with a printed sheet not even 10 minutes later that has a list that's almost $600. Remember, the doctor has not come in or evaluated my dog. I then ask in confusion, will the doctor evaluate him or is this protocol to just bring a bill and not see the dog for the owner to pay and never even seen the physician who is deciding the care on a pet she hasn't even evaluated. The nurse says she would go and ask. We sit a few minutes, and as she returns (tech) , she replies that the doctor feels that all listed things need to happen but it is up to me. I start questioning, to see what would be best( at this point I should have left, now looking back). The tech/nurse( not sure what she was) seemed irritated and was rushing me to decide. I just went with x-rays because at least that would give us an idea of what was going on. The tech places a hog tie type string and started to drag my puppy who is ill to go for x-rays...my daughter gets up out of emotions and pulls our puppy up because obviously the tech had no empathy or couth for a sick pet. They go for x-rays and at this point I am livid from what just happened. I remain calm, and the next thing I know is that he's back in the room,,,doctor comes( my first time ever seeing her) and says that an emergency surgery is needed and that our puppy is not guaranteed to make it out of surgery. Of course we are emotional(my 14 year old daughter and I). I ask for a minute to think....she leaves and returns right back and I tell her I don't feel comfortable from the experience thus far and she immediately says that I cannot take my dog and she will euthanize him. My mind hasn't had time to gather where and how we have gotten here and trying to explain to my daughter because she's confused as well. My daughter immediately says that this seems to be about money and these people don't care. I have to agree. I speak with my husband and he levels me and says not to let our puppy suffer and just to make sure that our daughter is not in the room when this happens. I express to the tech and doctor that we did Not want to be in there when it happened....all of that was ignored. The doctor proceeds with two needles in hand and puts meds in and I literally had to tell my daughter to go outside. I'm stuck at this point because I want to console my daughter and I also am devastated about my puppy. No one ever consoled or said I'm sorry...I walk out and no one even cared. I get ready to pull off and the tech comes out and says to pull in breezeway for them to bring my puppy out in a cardboard box. A guy then comes and basically throws the box in trunk and walks in building. I'll never recommend. I've never seen such heartless people."
